09/7/2020 11:18 | Costax, you miserable jealous sod! Did you not see my post last night saying I was going long tomorrow after realising no one on social media cares about these slavery claims?? | gostaa
09/7/2020 11:17 | i14, best ignore, just off school with nothing much to do, all of its nonsense lol He only became a Advfn free member at the beginning of the year pmsl x 20 Investors waking up to the fact that this got oversold. Simples..stay long | ny boy
09/7/2020 11:17 | FFS. There's zero chance of an ST apology, just as there's zero chance of BOO suing the ST. Imagine the disclosure process & the damage caused to BOO! Do you think the ST lawyers allowed publication to go ahead without insisting on multiple sources & hard proof that can stand up every single thing they've claimed? | bbmsionlypostafter
09/7/2020 11:16 | Going like the clappers | aim999
09/7/2020 11:13 | This has been a fantastic trade. Wish I'd bought more. | gostaa
09/7/2020 11:11 | I get that the key buyer groups for BOO are probably less likely to care. But what about the regulatory bodies ? Will they not take action by way of heavy fines, change of processes etc etc that will hurt BOO's bottom line. This is assuming BOO are found guilty off course. I don't see Sunday Times making an apology just yet and I am surprised at NEXT, Amazon, ASOS for taking the action they have so quickly without (guessing) making their own investigation and talking to BOO's Execs before taking the action. They may have and were not sufficiently assured by the Execs, in which case, this momentum maybe short lived. | ropey
09/7/2020 11:05 | I can see very close to £4 by the end on next week. | mallorca 9
09/7/2020 11:04 | spractive, If BOO is threatening to sue them then you may see a full and clear apology. | mallorca 9
09/7/2020 11:03 | Where’s the investor? Sulking? | smartie6
09/7/2020 11:02 | stewar06 9 Jul '20 - 10:51 - 18994 of 18994 Are you a good samaritan with a clear conscience? The industry in the Midlands goes back to the industrial revolution. The factory workers were low paid, poor background and low social status. But it is not the Midlands factories you should be looking at but other industries if you are so concerned! (I refer you to British Industrial revolution and British social history) Farming, restaurants, Where is mr Sunday Times to expose those law breakers? Why target Boohoo? What was behind it? Who was behind it? Who was standing to gain on that? ASK YOURSELF AND POST IT FOR US WHO ARE OF LOW INTELLIGENCE -------------------- | christh

09/7/2020 10:59 | You may also find that the Sunday Times issues an apology this weekend. | mallorca 9
09/7/2020 10:58 | It's not a case of being forgiven, it's a case of people caring. And as I said yesterday, BOO's demographic don't care as much about "slavery" claims as they do about cheap clothes and looking good. Typical millennial hypocrisy! | gostaa
09/7/2020 10:56 | You may see the Times being sued by BOO | mallorca 9
09/7/2020 10:55 | It's gaining momentum by the hour ! Surely all cannot be forgiven this quick ? | ropey
09/7/2020 10:51 | Trouble is Lessons won't be learned. We have known about working conditions in these sweat shops since the 60's and probably before. Every couple of years it comes to light and the big clean up begins then gets forgotten about. Nothing like a new news story to kill off an old news story as they say | stewar06
09/7/2020 10:45 | The Times most likely got a donation from the hedge fund who shorted Boohoo. But trying to prove it is difficult, black hole there. Maybe transferred funds to Mauritius or Fiji islands so they can not be traced! | christh
09/7/2020 10:44 | Bbm Or you better hope you're right Lol | d1nga
09/7/2020 10:44 | Will not disappear i meant | deangt
09/7/2020 10:43 | I'm not exposed financially either way, sold Boohoo shares a while back, I was in their offices at the time they were preparing their initial float. I'm just an interested observer and here to learn. I would probably have jumped back in after the FT report last night, but suspect (without any inside knowledge or otherwise) that this story will just disappear. | deangt
09/7/2020 10:40 | The Times are strangely quiet. Surely they need to respond... Careful what you wish for. I might be wrong but I very much doubt the Times is finished with this. If it were me doing this exposé that first story would have been the the appetiser with the main course to follow. You'd better hope I'm wrong. | bbmsionlypostafter |
