22/10/2019 15:49 | Mr Spock. I’d be interested to read what he says in this regard. Specifically his thoughts on the impact of brexit, EU sales post brexit, USA sales post brexit, the environmental protests and the effects of fast fashion.....just to name a few items. | guruofcanada
22/10/2019 15:40 | Christh, I'm curious...you're obviously very positive on BOO. I'm just wondering if you think they have any weaknesses at all, or if there are any threats out there that may hurt them. Is it possible to name just one or are they perfect in every way? | mr_spock
22/10/2019 15:00 | Boo very undervalued compared to the sales and future prospects Many brokers said over £3.15, Investors Chronicle said "BUY " so we should see a sudden jump in the short term to 300p. | christh
22/10/2019 07:16 | I’m very impressed with ASOS, great management team. You have to laugh at the losers who without any jest claimed it would fall to £20! | guruofcanada
21/10/2019 23:00 | ASOS: RBC Capital Markets reiterates outperform with a target price of 3,900p. | greco600
21/10/2019 17:54 | Do you ever shut up it’s nearly a year anniversary of you saying the same thing day in day out guru you are obsessed and bitter with boohoo as you lost everything. When you started posting on boohoo the price was 150. Enough said you sad loser. | ghostme
21/10/2019 17:26 | No deal brexit and EU sales disappear....260 not far away. PE of over 100 is absurd, it can’t keep going that way (unless growth is sustained) | guruofcanada
21/10/2019 17:13 | The sector is doing well and Boohoo will rise to 280p-300p as sales increased and the new aquisition is contributing too with new customers on board. Black Friday in November, Xmas , sales will go through the roof 360p not far away. | christh
21/10/2019 16:48 | Might open at 268 or lower than 260!.....why rush? Brexit chaos and a chance that boo could be wiped out in EU with massive taxes? | guruofcanada
21/10/2019 16:22 | Wow...ASOS 6.4% Boo will open at least 278p or 280p tomorrow Don't miss out | christh
21/10/2019 15:15 | ASOS have put in infrastructure for USA sales, previously they did EU. The huge expense was the reason they had to issue profit warnings. Boo haven’t done the same, but what they did do was buy KM, which I believe was a cheap way to add to their export agreements. I think it will take 12 months for that to pay off. The price isn’t rising at the same rate because the market sees the facts right now. If parliament votes against Boris this will be at risk because there is a bigger risk of a socialist caretaker government. | guruofcanada
21/10/2019 14:44 | Asos now 5.3% waiting for Boo to follow soon | christh
21/10/2019 08:09 | Asos going higher, will Boo catch with it? Asos might go up 6% today or higher | christh
21/10/2019 06:41 | You’re totally right extra, but I do see the younger teenagers being more serious about climate change. My own 13yr old is highly conscientious about waste. That age group is the next online customer. Brexit clarity is the biggest hangover of all businesses right now. Additionally, if socialist Labour gets close to getting into power then online businesses will be hit extremely hard. | guruofcanada
18/10/2019 19:43 | I think you have hit the nail on the head with this! Not in all circumstances but majority. | greco600
18/10/2019 18:39 | Hi Guruofcanada, I can't speak for ASC/BOO relative preparedness for Brexit, neither pay dividends. As to climate awareness culture, I think a lot of young (and-not-so-young) protesters talk the CC talk, but don't walk the walk (literally) : want all the conveniences of modern life but don't see how they came about...and are sustained. Try suggesting to 'yoof' that they walk/cycle to school/work ; forgo the stag's / hen's nights in Prague etc; forget about 'next day' delivery or 'click and collect'; replace their phones only once every 5 years; turn down the central heating; share 1 TV, etc , etc. Anyway, enough , already ! It's the weekend... Have a good one. ATB | extrader
18/10/2019 17:25 | Hi Guruofcanada, I take my figs from s'pedia, which is likely more reliable than your source.... And the speed of re-rating or de-rating is irrelevant to a snapshot. But you know that already. ATB | extrader
17/10/2019 20:28 | Hi blotter, You make an interesting claim. I have ASC on a 12month PBT of £33m and Mkt Cap of £2,760 for a P/E of 83.6 and BOO on a 6month PBT of £45m (say 90, annualised, though should be higher ?) and MktCap of £ 3,230 for a P/E of 36.9..… Even s'pedia has ASC on a P/E of 55.8 vs BOO on 45.5. Seems largely driven by ASC operating margin of 2.98% vs BOO's 7.7%.... Different numbers, same broad relationship. ATB | extrader
17/10/2019 18:40 | Guru. You really don't know what a PE is do you? Or how to calculate it. You say over and over that BOO is overvalued compared to ASOS because it has a much higher PE. It does not - the PE of ASOS is 117.1 based on todays close (Stg34.44). Please tell me what you think the PE of ASOS is and let me why you think I am wrong - i would be delighted to be corrected. But actually you can't can you? | blotter |
