17/10/2019 20:28 | Hi blotter, You make an interesting claim. I have ASC on a 12month PBT of £33m and Mkt Cap of £2,760 for a P/E of 83.6 and BOO on a 6month PBT of £45m (say 90, annualised, though should be higher ?) and MktCap of £ 3,230 for a P/E of 36.9..… Even s'pedia has ASC on a P/E of 55.8 vs BOO on 45.5. Seems largely driven by ASC operating margin of 2.98% vs BOO's 7.7%.... Different numbers, same broad relationship. ATB | extrader
17/10/2019 18:40 | Guru. You really don't know what a PE is do you? Or how to calculate it. You say over and over that BOO is overvalued compared to ASOS because it has a much higher PE. It does not - the PE of ASOS is 117.1 based on todays close (Stg34.44). Please tell me what you think the PE of ASOS is and let me why you think I am wrong - i would be delighted to be corrected. But actually you can't can you? | blotter
17/10/2019 17:48 | There’s been a lot of rumbles about a GE. Still you’re only out by, what, £2.20 per share, give or take. Not bad for a man who only makes 100% correct calls. | mauricemonkey
17/10/2019 17:46 | If you’re going to make stuff up, at least go back and delete your posts that prove you’re making stuff up.... Guruofcanada - 23 May 2019 - 12:05:08 - 15054 of 16024 BooHoo - let's try again lol! - BOO Does the article say how the Labour Party will slam them with online corporation tax, plastic bag tax, high street renovation tax etc etc? Does it tell people to trade the news? If UK goes down the wrong path with brexit? Recession? With a crazy high PE this share could drop to sub £1 with ease Guruofcanada - 23 May 2019 - 10:16:02 - 15052 of 16024 BooHoo - let's try again lol! - BOO If there is even the slightest rumble of a general election and risk of a corbyn government this share will crash to 50p due to the threat of big taxes for online retailers. 50p could easily be on the cards | mauricemonkey
17/10/2019 15:56 | Too much time on your hands. Quit bashing it | ghostme
17/10/2019 14:57 | Been over celebrating sorry. You guys are too funny! Have you thought about comedy or maybe the circus is more suited? Neither of you can read because I actually compared the PE to that of ASOS and a comparable value (also as suggested by fool.co.uk). You will further recall that I said it would fall to low £1 and indeed it fell into the £1.40s from £2.47!!!!!! Now, I do justify my targets and that’s why I make nothing but winning trades. Yes, that’s now quite embarrassing actually. Your vile words are just your own defence for your inadequacies! Clearly because you keep mentioning my wife it would suggest those inadequacies are with your own wife. It’s quite funny! You can’t say a single phrase without being offensive! Get some counselling, the anger is clearly eating you up. The boo PE is holding this share back and now the risk is that labour socialists will block the deal, since an extension has been ruled out by the EU that means the country could actually crash out without a deal due to MP stupidity! Boohoo are not prepare, whereas ASOS have made huge strides. This share could crash on more than one issue. | guruofcanada
17/10/2019 12:07 | How’s your wife being bent over | ghostme
17/10/2019 12:06 | I do I do do you remember his short at 150 or how 280 it’s going to 250 and then the brilliance of at 230 it is going to 80. Bravo | ghostme
16/10/2019 20:27 | Who remembers when “Guru” said this was likely to go below a quid? 🤣 | mauricemonkey
16/10/2019 10:01 | Ha aren't you the big shorter that said boohoo was going nowhere? | tcarter66208
16/10/2019 09:03 | Boohoo heading to 300p short term. Sales booming and more to come on Black friday,Xmas and the new collections. It is forecasted that this year sales will reach £1.5 billion So share price should get to at least £3.50 | christh
16/10/2019 08:25 | Interesting that ASOS had poor results yet are doing rather well, which bodes well for a company that, at present, can do no wrong. | superhoop2
16/10/2019 08:18 | Boohoo over 280 again who was that idiot saying 150? 80? Even saying this is going down from 270 to 250 of late. What a loser | ghostme
16/10/2019 00:16 | “Just 10% margin”. Just. Lol. | mauricemonkey
15/10/2019 14:37 | Black Friday is one of the most successful trading periods for Boohoo ,always sales hit around 35% to 42%. Xmas only 7 weeks away. Shopping spree started already, the new season collection doing very well looking at the website. 300p in the short term | christh
15/10/2019 14:09 | EU demands new offer made by midnight. Even the deal is on the ropes | guruofcanada
15/10/2019 14:07 | ASOS down 3%. Boo is down. | guruofcanada
15/10/2019 13:30 | Asos doing well, will test £27 this week, as today tested 2686p. Boo might test 284p-286p as today hit 279p All this from my own research It's an uptrend and will rise to 300p in the short term. In November we have the black Friday, one of the most successful events for boohoo before Christmas | christh
15/10/2019 11:52 | France has already said they will tax any company that has a turnover of 750m or more. It’s just the start of taxation, that will hit the profit margin significantly because they already trade at just 10% margin. What are your positive thoughts though Bull? Would be interested to hear some rational debate for a change. | guruofcanada
15/10/2019 10:37 | I do like it, but there are many cracks in the wall. The risk of EU, the risk of new online sales tax, the fickle youth with the environmental movement. It would not take much for them to start demanding action and actually boycotting - it’s the very market they are targeting. Is this share worth a PE of 100? Absolutely not. There’s a point where the steam runs dry. | guruofcanada |
