12/4/2024 14:56 | Based on what exactly ?? Presumably its based on nothing more than hope and fresh air and the fact that you got yourself lumbered with Boohoo shares. You obviously can't read a set of Financial Accounts or understand a balance sheet and you've either lost money or are losing money on ASOS, Boohoo, Currys, Superdry and THG. You are the sad clown that EVERYONE laughs at | throgmortonstreet

12/4/2024 14:39 | After slumping 80% in 5 years, is the boohoo share price still 5 times overvalued? ==================== Author James Beard Final thoughts Based on its earnings potential, Boohoo shares appear overvalued to me. I know share prices are supposed to reflect future earnings. But how many years will investors have to wait for the company to make the level of profit needed to justify its current stock market valuation? It’s a similar story when it comes to looking at its balance sheet. At 31 August 2023, its net assets were £380m. That’s approximately 18% lower than its market cap. If all the company’s assets were sold for their book value, and the proceeds used to clear its liabilities, there wouldn’t be enough cash left over to give the shareholders the current value of their holdings. That’s why if I did have a stake in boohoo, I’d be sobbing uncontrollably. | factsandfigures

12/4/2024 11:11 | ANOTHER HIGH PROFILE SENIOR EXEC QUITS BOOHOO PLC ==================== After working at Boohoo PLC for 3 years, HR Director M/s Siobhan Forey will shortly be leaving the loss making clothes retailer. Following a period of intense Boardroom disharmony within Boohoo PLC, a number of other senior executives have also quit, including trading director Sam Brocklebank, product operations director Marie Laskowski and procurement director Claire Asher. This also follows the high profile departure of Boohoo's former Chief Financial Officer, Sean McCabe who suddenly and unexpectedly stepped down in January "with immediate effect". In its last financial results, Boohoo PLC reported pre-tax losses of £90.7 Million for the six months to 31 August 2023, compared with a pre-tax profit of £92.2 Million just a year earlier. Worryingly for Boohoo shareholders, sales turnover fell by 17% year on year to just £729.1 Million and for the current financial year to 28 February 2024, Boohoo PLC has warned that total sales are expected to fall again by another 12% - 17%. | factsandfigures

12/4/2024 10:22 | BOOHOO - THE UK'S LEAST TRUSTWORTHY RETAILER ==================== Although John Lyttle, C.E.O of Boohoo PLC claims the closure of it's Thurmaston Lane manufacturing site in Leicester is not related to the recent BBC Panorama investigation, many disagree. Back in 2023 an undercover BBC journalist working at Boohoo's headquarters in Manchester discovered Boohoo staff pressuring suppliers to drive down prices, even though contracts and pricing had been agreed previously. Prior to the factory opening in Leicester, Boohoo PLC repeatedly faced allegations over poor pay and supply chain failings Going back to 2020 and following an independent review of Boohoo's entire business operations, lawyer, Alison Levitt KC reported that Boohoo's failings over poor pay and supply chain issues were substantially true. | factsandfigures |
