Indeed, good summary nashwan. Government only knows how to screw the people.
Hopefully, BOO is strong for us.

Another thing, in this demographic of 16-24 year olds I'm not sure that it's the end user who purchases these clothes. Imv more likely to be mums and dads. To me that means more stability as potentially less susceptible to personal income.

The Tories were at war over Europe so Cameron held a referendum and lost. The Tories were sniping at May over hard/soft BREXIT so she called an election and effectively lost. The biggest losers are us the people.

Scary day for me. In china on business, so my day stared 12pm your time......watching labour going further and further in front, the beeb kept pushing up the smuggest picture of Corbyn they could find ... around 4am i was considering moving my family to the IOM. So for me a hung parliment is a distinct relief!

I think I must be reading a different thread SKERRA.. who has posted they have sold?

Personally (after today) I think we are overbought.

I hold £40k of these but not selling any paper shares but I have set a Short at £12pp with a 30p STOP

I see the rise as a seedling that's been given too much heat and light and needs calming down... lol

I see that quite a few people have sold hoping to buy in at a lower price. I also did this once a few months back but, like others, regretted it as had to buy in a couple of pence higher. I decided there and then that the story with BOO seems so good that I would ride any dips and, just leave well alone. So far, I haven't regretted my decision needless to say.

In fact, I'm with a lot of other people, if it should dip by 5 to 10p, I'll just top up some more. Looks like this share has legs to just keep going, certainly over the short to medium term at least.

Planned warehouse capacity £2.5bn sales.

Gross margin 50% = £1.25bn

Earnings 15%? = £375m

p/e 15 = mc £5.6bn

=> share price of £4.90

The most important thing for the management to focus on is keeping the brand cool. BOO for the moment is cool, PLT is cool and Nasty Gal is super cool. carol Kane has a wonderful feel for what the typical working class 14/15 year old girl wants to wear. Keep it cool (or sic as my neighbour's kids call it) and the share price will more than double by the end of this year.

On the rum. Struggling to come to terms with the day's events. The ambition
£2.5B capacity warehouse! Today provides some insight into how these city boys live. Coke and hooker's anyone? My shout!

Mr Klopp refers to the dark days of Jan 1991 when Next plc was forced to sell Grattan in order to keep its creditors away from the door. The path to first Gulf War was on and unemployment was rising by 120,000 a month although this did moderate to c80,000 a month by the middle of the year ;-{

Next had a stroke of luck in that Grattan was bid for by Otto Versan of Germany and someone else (sorry cant remember who). The increased sale proceeds pushed the sh price up to the mid teens and sowly but surely they (under the Woolf ) paid off their debts and got into free cash flow

I recall they were 50p by the end of 1991 and were 150p by summer 1993. They didnt deviate from what they were good at and with Next Directory taking off they spent 25 years heading for 80 quid. The dividends were over £1 thats 10 times what the share price was a generation earlier.

Things have changed. Margins will be higher for BOO without the bricks and mortar. I shall add on the dips

I expect the price to reduce down into the 240's area over the next few days. Perfect time for a top up

True, I can't recall when we started selling into America? How much are american sales growing? I'm certainly planning on a healthy top up after the current price corrects itself down

Yes Fugro in Gr8 Yarmouth for over 12yrs and Gardline prior in their mapping division. Figaro was a lovely company to work for with a fantastic group of employees. Unfortunately we were the last Opco to be either made redundant or relocate to UK head office in Wallingford but considering work load was limited over the last 12mths I decided this wasn't my future.
Funny thou as did buy Fugro shares towards the end of my employment on the Dutch market and did make my biggest profit 25% 12k althou caught the exchange rate wrong.

airs999 the company was doubling in size every two years, it's now on course to double in size in one year or less, the growth rate is accelerating. It's a runaway internet based success story just like google, eBay, Amazon...

Great day, but a long way to go, earnings to valuation is still massively stretched at a valuation nearly 100 times earnings so we may need to accept the share price will not rise as quickly in the next year or so and of course a siginificant dip in share price will come over the next few days I suspect. But we've had a great day
