"STRATEGY REPORT

Mobile: you ain't seen nothing yet

There are more active SIMs on the planet than there are humans. Smartphone penetration is not far behind, with approximately 4 billion in use worldwide, ranging from the most upmarket expensive iPhones to cheap Android devices.

From its dawn with mainframes, computing moved to the PC age, which in its turn yielded to the march of the mobile device. Computing is no longer the province of governments and big companies, nor middle class families. It's available to everyone. And the computing capabilities of these devices are different to those that have preceded it.

Driven on by the remorseless logic of Moore's law, the computer in your pocket knows where you are, can see through its camera and communicate both locally and over the internet. Although the distribution phase of the mobile computing revolution is nearing completion, the usage phase, the phase in which we figure out what to do with these things, is only just getting started. The phone has already displaced the PC as the most popular way to buy things online yet purchases from mobiles are still only a fraction of the total opportunity.

One of the things holding back growth is that the tools that support online business -- in payment, in identity, in fraud management -- have not really been able to keep pace."

Good results and very encouraging regarding the current health situation so a good defensive play as well as the opportunity for spectacular growth in the future. Plenty of cash and cash flow positive.

totally agree and in reflection I believe that there is a strong possibility that many more companies who are not signed up for this particular payment method will now seriously consider adding Boku or Bango to their line up of payment merchants taking into account the surge in payment processing volumes using pay by mobile

Bango announced a surge in EUS as people stay at home. I should think with Boku being more European based this effect will now be coming through here.

Actually Boku are generating cash. It looks like EUS will be at least 6. 5 billion in 2020. Given the run rate in February it could well exceed this. I reckon they will be already generating net cash of 1m per month and building to the big cash pile they already have.

According to the 3 industry analysts covering BOKU, the consensus is breakeven is near. They expect the company to post a final loss in 2020, before turning a profit of US$3.5m in 2021. BOKU is therefore projected to breakeven around a couple of months from now! In order to meet this breakeven date, I calculated the rate at which BOKU must grow year-on-year. It turns out an average annual growth rate of 105% is expected, which is rather optimistic! If this rate turns out to be too aggressive, BOKU may become profitable much later than analysts predict.

Never ever take any advice or be persuaded to act from info you read on investment message boards....

Stick to the fundamentals or write or even go visit the company in person that you are invested in....if you are that concerned. These message boards are bursting with toxic trolls all with their own hidden agenda.

Just Chiming in. 2x big buys in the last 2 days. Someone is confident. A rare chance to get in on a company that would normally be private and VC funded? Great revenue growth, regular deals being done, interesting position in large Asian markets. Plenty of cash in the bank. Profits will come. Still like it.
