Safe to say this is a very well run company who's two major markets are incredibly
challenging atm.
Hold a small amount but not particularly minded to add atm.

Ahh the new new...20pc drop in turnover and 45pc drop in profits for the first 6 months....coupled with 'we haven't got a clue' style outlook, going forward....which will hopefully improve...but who knows. |

How does anybody view bodycote their revenues going forward? Surely revenues must be falling off a cliff especially what will be expected to happen in the aerospace and automotive industry now. |

Hi Phil, there is a degree of the share price making up lost ground on
the broker price cut earlier this week. That being said a 10% move in either direction is pretty routine for Bodycote. Really like this longer term as
they may be in a sweet spot, highly cyclical though. |

If we were to head back in to recession and some of the huge
Airbus/Boeing backlogs begin thinning out, that may hit hard.
The industry has around 4 years of backlog work atm, from what I've read.
However much of that can still be cancelled pre production (is my understanding). |
I would not be too concerned about the MAX re Bodycote - unless it failed recertification.
What's weighing on the BOY price atm is car/light truck exposure, coupled
with their general industrial business- at least that's my take
Aerospace is less than 30% of their total business, so the MAX program
within that segment might be a few % ? - at a guesstimate. |
