He is insignificant by his absence though.

To be fair to EJ he has written that " stop losses " per a strict formula can have their drawbacks as well as well as their obvious benefits. He has not to my knowledge indicated that he has sold AVT and therefore accept that he is still a holder.I trust his integrity rather more than I trust the senior management of the Coy.

holding very speculatively... why don't u include the website of the company in the header as well...

will someone buy it out? ... i'm sure there are better informed ppl out there than i... the only thing interested me..is the tech...

cheers

If i owned a co. that specialised in online billing and offered flexible meter reading and a 20% share of u.k market then 2 mil would be a very cheap price for me to buy an interest in u.s and to harmonise my costs and boost profits in the u.k

I had thought about

"two-way share price but contract unlikely to ever be signed"

but it was too long.

Disagree with $:£ analysis though - I think £ will decline further against the dollar in the next 6 months. Of course if the opposite happens it will be good for AVT. Damage for the next results will already have been done and I doubt AVT hedge currencies.

In response to British Bears post earlier...

quote''AVT is another share where many of its costs will be in £ but nearly ALL its revenues will be in $'s.

This is the primary reason for the fall imo.

Dollar has further to fall so no recovery in the near future.''unquote

The Bank of England MPC minutes were released today and it looks like interest rates will be cut now, rather than increased - this should be good for the dollar and therefore better for AVT.

Also BB, I know you probably chose the title for this thread because of the pun, but we really are going 'one-way' at the moment, perhaps you could start a new thread with another title...? (I would but I don't know how to).

Perhaps it could be called 'Two-way share price, but mostly up'. Lol
