25/11/2004 10:00 | LordR Get your pom poms out, your fast becoming Edmonds cheerleader! | treborbob
25/11/2004 09:37 | Hi all, Just checked this again after 4 months, still no contracts (no suprise) See you all in another 4 months | pictureframe
25/11/2004 09:25 | Don't be too hard on Edmond-he can't be blamed for all AVT's woes-mainly down to inept management over the years. If Ghana and the other Asian deal had come off earlier this year we would all be on the beach in the Maldives by now!! He has had some good tips-Dana Petroleum has quadrupled and i made a packet on BATM advanced technologies some years ago, although these have also come down to earth which the likes of Psion in the techno slump. At 4.295p you should hopefully make some money! Regards. | lord r
24/11/2004 18:51 | Having only bought two of Edmunds share tips in 35 years of investing, both of which have been disasters, I bought another 100,000 AVT. in what I consider to be pound cost averaging. The price on this site gave a buy price of 4.75p but I was asked 4.295p. This could be throwing good money after bad, but as we know it is also darkest before the dawn. The other E.J. share tip I fell for some years ago was his share of the year called Microvitec which I paid 28p for. They are now called Ultima Networks and are 1.88p...the joys of investing in newspaper tips! Don't get me wrong, I still love the stockmarket. | infocusint
16/11/2004 13:41 | Your post implies something good may be about to happen! Price is cheap as chips if you are prepared to take the risk of the Company pulling a 2-way deal out of the bag and having the cashflow to survive financially. My impression is that things are a lot better than in the Summer but we're not out of the woods yet! Am keeping everything crossed! | lord r
16/11/2004 09:10 | MM's starting to creep the price up with the hope of pulling in some sellers- not a bad time to buy I suspect... | richpoorkid
30/10/2004 15:01 | Edmond, You've been very quiet of late.Have you washed your hands of this share or do you agree with Prhc that this phoenix may just rise from the ashes. Have you picked up any crumbs of comfort along the way? | lord r
25/10/2004 13:50 | EVO too long: no big deal. AVT can break even on one-way alone. Then the icing will be the two way stuff. | prhc
25/10/2004 08:59 | RL - WHY on earth did you buy this share - it does not even fit with your, admittedly totally flawed, investment strategy of buying RNS issuing shares at 8 a.m. This could be a record for losing so much so quickly. I still hold but fear the worst. | britishbear
25/10/2004 08:21 | evo just sold 1mln imho | jmillskeel
25/10/2004 08:14 | What is happening?. Is there any chance this company could go bankrupt?. I paid 5.69p last week and thinking about averaging down. | responsible lad
21/10/2004 14:00 | Edmond, There seems to be a lot of dumping going on today including a sale of 314334 at 3.5p-surely a record!! Ghana appears stuck in the mud-the utility seems willing but the political will doesn't seem to be there at the moment. Can't see how water privatization/privat Is that your assessment as well? | lord r
20/10/2004 18:59 | jojob What are you doing here? | treborbob
20/10/2004 14:00 | Trebor, nothing will teach him! lol | jojobt9
20/10/2004 12:04 | RL That'll teach you.I fainted when it went blue,by the time I had recovered it was business as usual. | treborbob
20/10/2004 08:59 | Thanks British Bear, It just takes me forever constantly checking the biggest winners, fallers and mm trades lists all day long. Along with trying out quotes to buy to see if certain stocks have really good price savers. I know from the past that AVT does go up really well on little trading and that is why I put in £800 into this on a T10. I generally do not put in too much on the tiny companys since they carry higher risk. Kind Regards Stephen | responsible lad
20/10/2004 08:41 | RL - you are really getting about. While it is true that this share could double in quick time a T10 on this one is even more foolhardy than some of your recent trades. Good luck A 10% rise to start is always welcome though | britishbear
20/10/2004 08:39 | You can buy at 5.69p. With a spread like that it is a no brainier for a T10. I just picked a few up just incase this one doubles, since it is a graph breakout. | responsible lad
17/10/2004 15:25 | Prhc, I agree that things appear more encouraging and the new crew appear to have fixed most of the leaky holes.Don't know how long it will take to turn this small vessel around-any ideas. Whats your view on Ghana. Will it ever happen or is it just another 2-way opportunity that has sunk to the bottom of the sea! | lord r
15/10/2004 14:54 | Looks like AVT are competitive again. Should see more orders. Impressed with early stage turnround. | prhc
15/10/2004 13:03 | A while ago there was a press release celebrating the 500,000th one-way device installed, so we can estimate that the new contract is worth about 11% of total one-way turnover up to that point, spread over a further five years. | poobah
15/10/2004 09:45 | rpk in wateronline.com do a search on Northrop (in articles). news dated 5/10/04 pk | peterknaup
14/10/2004 17:05 | PK, my search didn't return an article 13, don't suppose you have another link? | richpoorkid |
