05/4/2017 15:42 | And11..because they will not have had decent revenue flow last year and they will probably report a hefty loss due to the heavy marketing, recruitmen | nurdin
05/4/2017 15:35 | This is certainly not for faint hearted Very unusual reaction - out of proportion trading compared any normal day | neurolodger
05/4/2017 15:32 | Wow! For those who have faith and are following the company fundamentals - keep perspective - and this share will win in the long run. My average is 1.17, so I am nursing a paper loss. For others, this is what you have been wanting, so make hay while the sun shines. BNN would not have reacted today if there were fundamental issues within the business. Massive dip initially caused by sell triggers, and then the ups and downs of today caused by day trading. Be interesting to see what happens tomorrow. | newmanontheblock

05/4/2017 15:15 | @ ripplevale The problem is they will announce their 2016 results at the end of next week which will not make a good reading.I am sure quite a few are holding back to see how adverse the reaction will be to the results. I have sold quite a big chunk of my shares taking a hefty loss. Will decide on my next move once I have had time to assess the whole situation properly. Thanks for your reply. | nurdin
05/4/2017 15:13 | And11 are you going to ask MW for your money back. IDIOT!!! | iamrich1
05/4/2017 15:08 | To Nurdin. I think competitors have been very aggressive in their marketing and the roll out to the provincial offices hasn't happened, but I don't know for sure. The figures are just for the mobile B2B which was never the revenue driver. The Mirabaud silence is now explained and similarly the SEC delays. Worth remembering it is not just the crude transactions that are revenue generating but ultimately the consumer behaviour. Much more encouraging is the second fuel supplier as I am convinced this market is not only a much higher margin but much less open to competition. All the Chinese lottery stocks are up week on week with unusual trading in 500.com (wbai) which hints at a successful completion of the pilots. Shame that some investors were privy to the figures over the last few months. Enterprise/ goodwill value difficult to estimate at present. | ripplevale
05/4/2017 15:04 | Get the CGT out of the way today and tomorrow the sellers will come flocking back. They will rocket at the bell or watch after hours trades. | knarf

05/4/2017 14:26 | Transaction volumes not remotely exponential. Needs some explanation and update from the broker next week. | ripplevale
05/4/2017 14:12 | wla - libel unless there is a defence to rely on. I know of one ceo who would instruct solicitors. | snowyflake
05/4/2017 13:47 | More likely to be libellous. Obviously there has been a big dump of shares but that doesn't change the rapidly improving revenue flows and they clearly want the NASDAQ listing because that's the route to a sale which is probably the ultimate goal and by then they will want maybe £3 per share IMHO | wla2510
05/4/2017 13:43 | A few points FWIIW 1. There was an article in Newsweek on Monday which described how the Chinese Government wants to make sure that a greater % of its population can speak Mandarin by 2020. The lack of this ability mainly affects the rural communities. Darren Mercer explained at the GM/AGM Q & A seesion in July last that Xinhuatong (which is the vehicle in wh9ch BNN has an interest) are targetting the rural communities. I have read that because of the lack of ability to speak and understand Mandarin some communities find it difficult to communicate two villages away. Xinhuatong, as I understand it are relying on the local Xinhua offices of which there are 1800 throughout the country to advertise, promote and encourage local people to go online. Imo that all ties together. 2. The spread of Mandarin must help Xinhuatong in organising deals and collecting revenues (perhaps I am being two simplistic)because just take 12 provinces surely as matters stand it must be difficult getting any deal translated into 12 different dialects; hence anything that the board of BNN may intend to announce to shareholders must take extra time. I do not want to offend any member of our Union but I sometimes find some Scotsman and Northern Irishmen difficult to understand!! It is difficult for me to comprehend how difficult communication might be in the countryside of China but a little lateral thinking helps!! 3. At the July meeting DM invited those present to think in terms of BNN (then DJI)as being a data company. This has been recently mentioned by one or two posters. Think about the value in that. A football deal here and there may seem irrelevant to some; to me I see the logic. 4. I believe that it was at the same meeting or a later GM that DM made the point that were it not for BNN's association with Xinhuatong, BNN would have no chance of being offered a licence for partaking in the lottery if and when it comes back although he made the further point that the company is far removed from being reliant on the lottery (that would be a bonus on top of other activities). 5. I agree with others who have made the point that whilst some focus on the Nasdaq listing (and let us face it it is an easy historical weapon with which bears can attack the company)the first port of call has to be increasing deals and thus revenue which will result in assisting the chosen sponsor to promote the IPO and satisfy the authorities to allow the listing. Having said all that I really think that the TU could have been brought forward especially since the tax year was coming to an end and a bit of thought would have an anticipated that there were many investors who bought in at the beginning of the fiscal year who might want to crystallise gains before the year end. I look forward to a Mirabeau mote in due course which may possibly be after the full year results are released. | snowyflake
