Why buy now when the share price will drop to the placing price or a bit lower. Still concerned with the lack of growth in listed projects in recent times. May re-invest if figures start to climb again.

This type of company does not usually do profitable.
This one may, sooner than we think.

Q1, 2014 metrics show high growth in the volume of submitted projects and average project values, greater penetration into global markets, and a broadening of services covered through the platform. 1,031 briefs were submitted in Q1 of 2014, compared to 359 in Q1 of 2013 and the total value of briefs was $73.7m, compared to $3.89m in the corresponding quarter.

In amongst the rest of the sad story.

Chance to buy more at the open offer price, I can at least reduce my expensive average.
Wait & watch after that, all good fun, keeps my fingers off the QFI sell button !
I started with that in the same way, 40p down to less than 3p it took years, I hope this is a little quicker.
Seem to have the knack, & I thought I had lost it.

Get all the bad news in the open at once, the best way.
Re-finance & grow.

Stuart I think you are right and I can't count how many times other of my shares have been through periods of extreme doubt, only to later flourish.

Philip Letts, blur Group CEO, said:

" The continued increase in bookings in 2013 and into 2014 illustrates our first mover advantage in the emerging services-commerce market, and underpins a stronger financial position in the long term. With 45,000 businesses on our Global Services Exchange, from 145 countries worldwide, we believe we have the foundation from which to build a world leading global technology company, addressing a significant market opportunity. We look to the future with confidence."

"Within sales, investment is to be made in international expansion with the addition of Asia Pacific and European sales teams and also increasing engagement and focus on medium to large customers to attract larger and more profitable projects."

"As part of its expanding partner program blur has partnered with Alibaba to promote blur to its business customers and grow into the Asia Pacific region."

"We made good progress in 2013, but I strongly believe that we have only scratched the surface. We are confident that we are at the cusp of major growth as the benefits of s-commerce are experienced and understood by our markets."

Great - so uncertainty now out of the way and it's back to business as usual. share price will soon settle down and the trolls will get bored.
Had some more of these this morning now we know where the floor is - looking forward to watching this company grow and flourish.

It amazes me that you continue to defend this tripe. Tell me - why have the directors not bought into the placing? Surely they should be queuing up?

No that just means they will keep getting paid wages for a few more years.

Doesn't mean the business will ever turn a profit.

Yesterday they had enough cash for maybe a year.Today they have nearly four times that amount. That is massively derisked

It's not de risked at all. They still have a business model that doesn't work.

The difference being the business is that much further along with $252 million projects listed and the £13 million odd plus the existing cash should see it through to profitability.

Massively derisked.

If they had they would have said so in 10ft high letters so it's either a no or a very small amount.
