21/1/2015 15:44 | CFO Stephen Harvey interview today Blur Group CFO: Enterprise customer drive ahead of plan Stephen Harvey, the chief financial officer of blur Group (LON:BLUR), says the s-commerce group is ahead of schedule with its push to win the larger so-called ‘enterprise&rs | ![]() j777j
21/1/2015 13:50 | Nothing but a rigged rise by the market spivs to tidy up the charts (oversold) off some convenient news. But hold on ... they've left a gap back down to 51.5p ... bet that doesn't get filled when they've had their fill. | ![]() al h
21/1/2015 13:31 | The company is growing exponentially and the previous research was forecasting a share price reaching 20 pounds in a couple of years. The recent string of announcements starts to look like they are getting back on track. The adoption of Blur's platform by enterprise customers (turnover in excess of $500 million per annum) is accelerating at a far greater rate than the company was expecting. Add to that the very strong growth in the USA which is THE market and it is all looking increasingly positive. Finally, they are planning on opening an office in the far east this year, because they see tremendous growth coming from there too. I mentioned a few weeks ago, that I had spoken to the new CFO at length and was left very impressed with his enthusiasm for the company. He pointed that that he has also done extensive due diligence on the company before joining. This from a man that helped run Microsoft UK. | ![]() j777j
21/1/2015 12:50 | WTF does it matter that the so was once 800p? It was pure fantasy land. It wasn't worth it then, now or ever. Why even mention it other than to try to hype the shares??? | ![]() stegrego
21/1/2015 12:39 | Liberum Capital's last target was 140p | ![]() j777j
21/1/2015 12:37 | Settle for this price at the end of the day. A little greed on these mkts is overdue. Just looked over the morning as if a lot of regular solid buys were @59.8, with no change. Contrast with the recent downward movements on most of my shares, when a £14.95 deal has knocked off 10%. No idea what the mm's get up to. | ![]() haydock
21/1/2015 12:36 | The share price has fallen from 800p, so an 8p rise to 59p is nothing yet | ![]() j777j
21/1/2015 12:18 | In the last interview, Letts mentions they will open an office in the far east in h2So I don't think they are being held back, more they wanted to make sure the USA was getting all the attention it needed along with scaling up the enterprise customers | ![]() j777j
21/1/2015 11:52 | Clearly they have not helped themselves with overly ambitious targets and poor financial controls. Agreed: before the new CFO, who we can only take on his record, but he has made a few moves, & comments. The above company list backs up my views on the platform, a very attractive lure for the big fish to take. M&A someday. Is the share price being held back today ? | ![]() haydock
21/1/2015 11:38 | Both sides have valid arguments. The problem with this type of business is that if it was started in the USA they would be given a lot more time to get themselves up and running....just look at Amazon! In the UK we are much less willing to give new ideas the benefit of the doubt. My hope is that they don't throw the baby out with the bath water and scale back their ambitions in order to achieve positive cash flow that they damage the long term prospects of the business. Clearly they have not helped themselves with overly ambitious targets and poor financial controls. I am on the sidelines and will remain so until there is more clarity and if that means not investing until the share price is £1 so be it! | ![]() salpara111
21/1/2015 11:12 | Fine assessment & of course correct. One problem with it all, backward looking. There has been massive project growth across this platform since 2012. Of course we should look at the finances, but we should look at those of Amazon, always scared me to death. I don't like the USA model one bit. However if you follow that line it's still the platform that counts. From a financial & operational point of view I am still waiting for someone on here to assess the new CFO & his comments. | ![]() haydock
21/1/2015 09:47 | I am aware that there is potential bad debt here and that project value is no correlation to revenue but I am led to believe that issues are slowly being resolved to hopefully get this business model running efficiently and profitably. Thus I am prepared to give them the benefit of doubt unless real numbers prove otherwise.... | ![]() stuart37
21/1/2015 09:33 | Listing fee is quoted at 10% of project value and completion fee also at 10% of project value so potentially $600k revenue to Blur. They may reduce their listing fee to entice some of these early enterprise customers in but we are not privy to that info. | ![]() stuart37
21/1/2015 09:30 | Most on here are still all looking up your own orafaces, with all due respect & talking from the same regions . Follow the USA model, it's the platform that counts. This is another boost for the platform & a bigger set of feathers on the spinner. Nuff said. | ![]() haydock
21/1/2015 09:21 | So the project is worth $3M but my question is ......what is Blurs fee and when is it payable? Quoting project values is meaningless without knowing what Blur gets and from a cash flow point...when they get it! | ![]() salpara111
21/1/2015 09:18 | There will likely be many parts to the $3m project so fair to assume that the fees will come in over the two year period - not all at the end. Fees will be payable once each part of the project is completed. | ![]() stuart37
21/1/2015 09:08 | I take it that other than the kick off payment, BLUR won't see any further payment from this 3 million project for at least 2 years ? assuming the project completes. Zak Mir ... PMSL. | ![]() al h
21/1/2015 08:39 | Technically this ones due a bounce before reverting back to downward trend, till hard numbers are delivered.. | hamidahamida
21/1/2015 08:35 | They have announced $20 million worth of projects kicking off in last few days so why is the market reaction subdued considering share price is at all time low... Management credibility issues springs to mind | hamidahamida
21/1/2015 08:09 | You are obviously entitled to your opinion but from what I hear things at Blur are going well and slightly ahead of expectations...... | ![]() stuart37 |
