16/5/2018 08:30 | Aravali, interesting piece, just a thought though..if the trucks were to potentially be automated why the need for daylight ..at all? | thebigchap
16/5/2018 07:47 | interesting comments from Rio Tinto's CEO yesterday concerning the global commodity industry:- “A significant industry issue is resource nationalism,” Mr Jacques said. “From the DRC and South Africa to Mongolia and Australia, its is gaining momentum.” In the Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa’s biggest copper producer and home to half the world’s supplies of cobalt, international miners are facing increased taxes and royalties under a new mining code, while the Indonesian government wants to lift local ownership of mines to at least 51 per cent Mr Jacques said Rio would look to offset the impact of rising costs by increasing productivity. He cited moves to run its fleet of giant haul trucks more efficiently through automation. Greenland, is imo, one of the few countries trying to attract resource extraction at a fair price. Secondly, the opportunity to use automated trucks at Pituffik (given 24 hours of daylight for several months) would make the project very appealing to the majors. Just a thought! | aravali
15/5/2018 13:53 | A nice new company presentation it is. I notice that Disko Exploration Ltd is now separated from Dundas A/S. (page 4) Did we see that in earlier presentations as well? Or is that since when? MM hxxps://www.titanium | moreminer
15/5/2018 10:47 | Agreed minder5, we have to wait. The share price is actually pretty stable; it has been 22-26p for about 6 months now and I don't think a drop of 1p over a day or two is much to worry about. Remember 75% of this company is owned by big institutions and Board members and associates. I might be concerned if they started selling, but I'm happy and will continue to be as long as we continue to make progress towards an exploitation licence, even if realistically that is unlikely to be before Q1 next year. | bigboyblue
15/5/2018 10:30 | EIA requires information from this years field season to complete it. Exploitation licence is dependant on EIA so expect that much later this year. RM advises that this years field season will be to take 5000t bulk samples to several interested customers. So I’d expect the off take agreements to also be much later this year. Last year we had an rns prior to the company mobilising to Pituffik. Beyond that, I can’t see much news flow that will change things in the next few months. share price will fluctuate around 23 to 25p unless PIs get bored and move on. Unlikely imo | minder5
15/5/2018 10:10 | Gersemi, this depends on who the presentation is made for, looking at the date I’d suggest that this has been seen by institutions and possibly for analysts or potential Customers. Because Ilmenite is sold directly to customers - rather than into Metal warehouses Customers will want to see that the supply is there - well, that’s covered, it’s huge. Then they need to make sure it’s suitable for their needs. The product has gone through metallurgy and will continue so customers can know it will fit in with their process. R. Imho obviously! | rampair
15/5/2018 09:52 | This is potentially a massive project to take on for a mining Junior. The companies board is very well experienced in the Country & this presentation looks to be one that is directed at Industry that has been put out to allow shareholders to see what’s going on. Baseline monitoring has been going on since the project was first acquired, I was pleased to see that Urpo Kuronen is Chief Operating Officer - experience of running operations in a cold climate are vitally important & if you look at his CV he has a lot of expertise. It’s pleasing to see this turning in to a serious company and one that looks like it will be built, and grow into a decent money maker. So many Juniors fall by the wayside. Bluejay, with its huge resource is well placed to exploit not only Dundas but also the opportunity of the now enormous Disko licence. R. | rampair
15/5/2018 09:42 | Wanted - news Presentations doesn't move share prices - | gersemi

15/5/2018 00:30 | TBC: I first flew solo in the fifties; what does that make me? | shavian
14/5/2018 08:17 | bigchap Not quite. | littlealbatross2
14/5/2018 06:14 | wait a minute? if your learning geography in the fifties....then you'd have been about 14ish back then so that makes you....in your 80's? | thebigchap
13/5/2018 12:15 | Rampair My flying experiences were a long time ago and were over the Southern Ocean ... so wrong hemisphere. I'm land bound now. I've looked at various photos of Greenland recently and was quite shocked at modern developments.....the | littlealbatross2

13/5/2018 11:54 | Little Albatross - you must have sea experience - what’s the best way,? | rampair
13/5/2018 11:52 | My Neighbour here in the south holds an Ocean certification - not sure what that entitles him to sink! Possibly the most viable would be to either ask JAY for assistance once they are up and running/ or, we could contact the Greenland govt through their website. The share price would have to support it though! I’m sure it could evolve from whatever licensing event we may hold in the future. - although Flight into Nuuk from Iceland? Then up to the beach! Hopefully by fixed wing if not, Helicopter. Boats for the brave, or those that would love to see a Narwhal - something I’ve genuinely wanted to do ever since I saw a picture of one. R. | rampair
13/5/2018 11:46 | Is that trawler the one that Del and Rodney bought and skippered by uncle Albert on their way to Amsterdam to do a big diamond deal? | littlealbatross2
13/5/2018 11:26 | Yep....it looks a fascinating place, strangely compelling. One of theses days, we should visit. I can get hold of a trawler, one of the old Port of Hull fleet, we just need somebody who has the relevant licence/certificates to get us there. Perhaps do a bit of fishing on the way, I hear the haddock and cod are abundant this time of year. Just a thought like. | shutittrev
13/5/2018 10:39 | I’d love to visit the area though, it looks so alien to those of us who live in the U.K. & elsewhere, I expect lots of small flowers at present a bit further inland. The Photos on the website and various you tube videos show them. The Airbase at Thule can be seen in very good detail on google Earth, along with Moriusaq village with that distinctive round bay. I guess you two have looked at that too! Anyone else confess to Greenland watching?! R. | rampair
13/5/2018 10:26 | This is ridiculous! Is how we spend Sunday?...I’ve just come off the Weather site to check the forecast ..at Thule! | rampair |
