26/9/2018 17:30 | Looks like Trev knows more than we do... just saying like! | wishbone1970
26/9/2018 17:05 | I arnt been funny or owt, but these '1' trades at the close of play are intriguing. Bbb, absolutely right, we have a super massive shedload of homogeneous ilmenite. As I keep saying, sooner or later it will be monetised by somebody. Just saying like. | shutittrev
26/9/2018 13:20 | BBB, Yes, good reasoning. Could be any minute now. But is also could be a few months away. Mr Cominghome, you almost had a funny post! well done. Can't wait however to see you getting wet feet. MM | moreminer
26/9/2018 12:25 | Graham/tbc. Full year results were 31st May. No date for interims as far as I know, but could be soon. Wouldn't expect them to be particularly revealing except perhaps for current cash balance. When we last heard (7th Aug)that was £12m with most of our field season expenditure already met, which I for one felt was pretty impressive. I know we need positive news but if there's one thing we can be sure of it's that Rod and the team aren't sitting around doing nothing. We can only speculate, so I will: maybe Rio, our most likely offtake partner, don't really want to be bothered with an offtake agreement with a small company like ours. Maybe they'd rather just buy the company (either Dundas or JAY). Ilmenite is a big part of their business; just see their website. They can afford us, their market cap is £67bn. Maybe they're just waiting for our exploitation permit. OK, so I've just made that up and there are several big maybes there and you could equally well make up all sorts of other scenarios. My point is we don't know. But we do know, as Rampair keeps telling us, that we still have a very big pile of ilmenite that will soon be getting bigger, not in real life, but as far as the market is concerned when we update our resource. Someone will buy it. | bigboyblue
26/9/2018 12:06 | we really need the offtakes! rod surely cant allow this to continue to slide without some kind of reference to where we are at right now and what is round the corner | thebigchap
26/9/2018 11:55 | Anybody any idea when they will report the interims? Is today's drop anticipating no good news I wonder. | graham10k
26/9/2018 08:52 | Nope, it’s fine - working perfectly again now. Down on the day - usual service resumed | itscominghome
26/9/2018 08:35 | Yes...and the fault will grow bigger....lol | will02p
26/9/2018 08:24 | Is anybody else having problems with Proquote today ? Mines showing JAY up on the day - must be a faulty system ? | itscominghome
26/9/2018 07:23 | Thanks Snowyflake. All the best | toyin
26/9/2018 06:37 | yeah lets stay on topic snowyflake...this is how it all starts | thebigchap
26/9/2018 05:57 | toyin - I am pleased that you managed to sell before suspension. I still try and follow the story. Apologies to others for the off-topic. | snowyflake
25/9/2018 17:21 | Gents/whatever gender (don’t want more trouble) most of my posts are pretty dry, an attempt at levity was shown using the exclamation mark, lots of online dictionaries have Apophenia as a little bit lighter than a psychological condition, I don’t mean to suggest that - we’ve had a lot of really quite strong attacks on JAY without some of the posters having read anything. If you are genuinely interested in investing it’s not, clearly, intended to imply any disorder - however, there’s a lot of people taking pleasure in other people’s misfortune & we all know the word for that. Good luck to all genuine investors whatever positions you hold, except I would say betting against the Worlds biggest sandpiles wouldn’t be where I started. R. | rampair
25/9/2018 15:54 | ItsCominghome. I know, it's sad but that's the way it is everybody thinks you have an agenda. Hey ho. | toyin
25/9/2018 15:51 | Snowyflake. No I got out, not great but could have been worse! | toyin
25/9/2018 14:54 | Toyin - didn’t you know, unless you’re bullish you’re not allowed to comment on here without being slaughtered | itscominghome
25/9/2018 14:52 | Are you still holding BNN toyin or did you have the foresight to exit and do so at a decent price? | snowyflake
25/9/2018 14:31 | Brilliant post Rampair....thanks for sharing your knowledge....lets hope the market reacts soon.. | will02p
25/9/2018 14:09 | Listening to a Bearcast in isolation is also a form of confirmation bias, in my opinion it’s a type of apophenia! Bluejay Mining has selectively picked the best part of a phenomenally rich Ilmenite Province. It was not done by accident but by hard work over the best part of a decade in total. The Danish and Greenlandic equivalent of the British Geological society have stated that there were initially multi Billions of tons of Ilmenite eroded by Glacier action on to the area (now mainly covered by the Bluejay licence covering 80km2.) In terms of Extraction the sands that are Ilmenite are 2mm/60microns in size this is the optimum extraction size and achieved by machinery on site to separate the product. It is mining at its simplest, it uses no chemical processing that harms the environment. This has allowed the company to stockpile this season and send out substantial test batches. Ilmenite is used to make Titanium in both Metal, Metal powders and of course TiO2 Which is being consumed in ever greater quantities. That gives a starter into why investors are interested in the Company, its also very high in Purity and in volume terms the largest deposit in the World. R. | rampair
25/9/2018 12:36 | Managed a top up at base today... | will02p
25/9/2018 11:55 | Snowyflake I guess you never listened to the Bearcast then! Conformation bias is a terrible thing! All the best | toyin |
