29/3/2018 15:08 | I think, Gersemi that MoreMiner was referring to the size of the article - I read your links & find them useful on this and other shares we both seem to own. Perhaps a link would help and possibly extracts of pertinent points? The problem in reality lies with this format on ADVFN, after four or five posts the bloomin thread disappears. Where’s the JORC anyway?,....! Best, R. | rampair

29/3/2018 10:15 | It's a pertinent and highly relevant article. You either choose to treat it with disdain or accept it as a valuable addition to your store of knowledge. It all adds up to a better understanding and informed appreciation of current events in Greenland thanks | gersemi
29/3/2018 10:11 | yup, someone is really focussed on China! perhaps open a separate thread to attract more China-files?? just saying like MM ps, my pleasure, no disdain intended | moreminer
29/3/2018 09:51 | Meanwhile in the Titanium world, Chemours is seeing robust demand. Chemours President and CEO Mark Vergnano said: "We ended 2017 with incredible momentum in all of our businesses and strong demand signals for both Fluoroproducts and Titanium Technologies. With nearly one quarter behind us, we continue to see robust demand for Ti-Pure™ titanium dioxide That’s good then! Regarding China, I don’t see an issue, they have equity stakes already in most parts of the World, they own the Electricity company where I live. They are also building Nuclear Power stations in the U.K. R. | rampair
29/3/2018 06:40 | I sense, though I could be wrong (I usually am), that this airport construction contract is also tied in with natural resource agreements. It's the way the Chinese do business. It's been their strategy in Africa for years now. Build roads, airports, infrastructure etc and then gain favoured access to natural resources at good rates. But, the US has an ICBM monitoring base on Greenland. And that's a big but. The US will not tolerate Chinese involvement or influence in such a strategically important part of the world Let's see what happens ps - the Chinese are heavily involved in Australia though and the Aussie govt don't see a problem. Though the Greenland govt is so small and without influence that it may be open to manipulation and undue influence. Maybe a US or Danish government official is required to be involved at all times | gersemi
29/3/2018 06:22 | All eggs are in the basket Lets hope that before the Urbi et orbi we get to see the Jorci & off taki. Good Easter all | moreminer
28/3/2018 22:51 | China in Greenland: A call for deeper EU political engagement | gersemi
28/3/2018 20:55 | To me, the shares are rangebound between 22 & 26 and have only drifted recently due to no news. JORC is the big one together with the potential Disko hive off. IMO, once the split takes place there could be considerable interest in Disko and it wouldn't surprise me if they are taken over fairly quickly (hopefully at a very healthy premium). We just need to be patient as news can't be far away now | citytilidie
28/3/2018 20:39 | Global markets been wibbly wobbly.. No Jorc.. Losses elsewhere.. Some selling to cover other losses I suppose.Wouldn't panic dudes... Stay focused on what we think is coming out very Very soon. Is the Jorc in the price?? Maybe if its a big number. But if it's a monster BIG number. Then it should set off large upgrades by the analysts who cover it.. And should bring in new research coverage by the big investment banks. That's what I'm hoping for. | maccamcd |
