What's happened here? Is it the licence slippage inference?

Focus on the fundamentals. A high grade ilmenite asset with a multi-decade longevity

Camerons outright criticism of her backed up by the Queens clear disdain and distrust of the woman tell me far more than your claim she was simply deft at politics.

I guess you deny she allowed her grubby son to earn himself the 20 million as claimed by the British press in his arms dealing, with her signing the deal.

Dont forget her fall from grace was after her best mates had stabbed her in the back so desperate were they to remove her from public odium.

the only time Thatcher, being the sneaky brute she was, took any interest at all in assisting the end of Apartheid was when she saw the writing on the wall for the oppressive and sadistic leaders of the regime.

As for Mugabe, well once again our foreign policy created a nut, like we did with Saddam or the Assads.

the ANC under Mandela were forced to eventually take up armed struggle after Sharpesville when the white rulers shot 60 or 70 people at a peaceful gathering, they were forced to be the same as their rulers, ie brutal.

great article in FT today, re: chinese (unwanted) investment in German companies, particularly in light of the recent acquisition of 10% in Daimler.
within China's industrial 10 year plan, announced last year, one of the 10 points highlights the need for strategic metals...maybe our assets fall nicely into that category!

Thatcher never supported apartheid! She tried to bring regime down softly to avoid civil war....and it worked over time.

Yes, but we don't 'act' as a nation. State policy is directed by the government of the day not by a country's people and governments are composed of human beings termed politicians who behave in ways mere mortals simply cannot control nor influence except an on ad hoc basis
