Hate it when this happens. Usually means bad news but just can't see that happening here surely? Almost a 10% drop on nothing so just hope the mm's are trying scare tactics before we get some good news.

I was making a suggestion rather than a guess.


IMO they should avoid using 'South' at all costs, country name and commodity is best, and 'mining' suggests activity rather than exploration.

Definitely needs a name change to reflect the sector in which it operates:
Asian Gold Resources
Korean Gold
Asian Gold Mines

It will attract more investment...

Has anyone discussed a name change? There’s good evidence that simple and familiar names are more trusted, and less likely to be ignored by investors who come across the name. Bluebird merchant ventures, BMV, is a distressingly bad name for a gold miner. Truly awful. After the permits are granted I am confident a name change to e.g. South Korea Gold, which is simple, familiar and clear, would be good for the share price.

Big picture hopefully; c.£7 million market cap company that, subject to permit confirmation within the next 4-6 weeks, will commence gold production during 2020 and will ramp up to 100,000 oz per annum through 2020-24. Re-opening existing mines with confirmed gold deposits. All with a macro picture around gold having broken out of a 6 year basing pattern and likely to rise beyond previous highs seen in 2011.
