I don't think we can accuse CP of not holding enough shares..

CR - I had that 500k down as a sell yesterday according to the prices I was quoted on dummy trades. Never mind it's in the price now and hopefully things will improve now that gold is going bananas.

Thanks CR. It makes sense. But the overal volume since March has not been 11M shares but I guess not all SVS clients decided to sell.

CR why SVS would be selling below 2.25p which I believe was the placing price in March. Also they got 11.1M shares so surely they have not managed to sell everithing bu now.... or are you referring to some other placing they paticipated in?Thanks

Some decent news with this gold backdrop would go down very well right now.

Was that really 3 lots of 380k sells all at exactly the same time? Most odd. If so I can never understand why they want to get rid just days before we hear about the licences and if good news then surely a rise in the share price

I am not surprised we have a drop, but hopefully it’s short lived. I can’t imagine the directors benefiting from their loan conversations to BMV equity would be bailing out at these prices!

Interestingly, SAU believes its BMV JV commitments will be fully funded from the proceeds of its current assets sale. The proceeds from the rights issue are to fund a first round of exploratory drilling at other SK projects. That looks dubious to me. As cr has said in the past, SAU looks somewhat overstretched. They should focus on the JV for the moment, imo.

The rights issue is fully underwritten. If I remember correctly, the warrants are exercisable at a 63% premium to the rights price.

Big fall for SAU, the price is now below the rights offer, though I think there’s a warrant sweetener

It’s been really interesting at BMV. Years ago the requirement for additional equity was so often taken care of by simple rights issues, putting all the shareholders on the same footing. These days it’s so often placements which favour large shareholders and institutions.
This action at BMV could be promising as it is cleaning up the balance sheet, yet in a manner highly favourable to the board, giving them much more equity. It would look that they now have more risk, but I read it quite favourably, because if they simply found another institutional placement they would not be risking more of their own cash. The fact that they have swapped their chunk of debt for equity indicates they might soon expect good progress reflected in a positive outlook for the share price They are highly incentivised now to deliver real progress.
The lack of action in the market yesterday was promising, showing most holders are waiting for further developments. I would picture the directors would start selling some of their holdings to institutional investors, or having another placing if we related rapidly to 10p on positive news of gold production
