20/9/2017 13:48 | Yes the percent interest in that is quite low. But it should still be worth around the current market cap once it becomes widespread. Nice one to have ticking in the background. And some huge players involved with large stakes. So it WILL succeed. The main show for us at BLU however is our 31% of Satoshipay. | apfindley
20/9/2017 13:42 | I've always thought Sthaler to be a little gem as well. Just a pity we only have a modest percentage holding. | flashheart

20/9/2017 10:15 | Yes very close. People waking up now to bluestar and their 31% stake in satoshipay, which is hoping to become THE goto company to handle nanopayments. Many many Billions of transactions per year potential, for purchasing online content, news articles, magazine articles, pictures, videos, software, scripts, music, audio, etc etc..... And that's just for digital content. And as has been openly stated, it is a direct threat to the viability of Google ads, which people find ever more intrusive. So what will Google do? What do Google normally do about threats? Acquire and use or acquire and close. How much would Google pay to shut down this massive threat to their main ads revenue stream. Add also the mass potential of, the online porn industry, the payment of utilities per usage eg electricity paid for in real-time by appliances, pay per mile for vehicles on toll roads, many many more potential sectors. All made possible by the efficiency of nanopayments by Blockchain. | apfindley

20/9/2017 09:22 | China's (cryptocurrency) clampdown is likely here to stay, analysts say. Just as well that Satoshipay also works with Paypal then. Or any other current currency.....for that matter. | thegrumpster
20/9/2017 00:19 | His predictions are as often wrong as they are right and he openly admits it. Example: _______ Is Ray Dalio Wrong About Bonds? May 21, 2017 5:28 AM ET| Includes: GSG, TLT Victor. Momentum, macro Summary Last November, Ray Dalio predicted that the twenty-five year bull market of bonds was over. His reason was that protectionism, inflation and aggressive fiscal policy will increase the yields. However, the recent development of events has provided evidence against his prediction. Ray Dalio, the chairman and CIO of Bridgewater Associates, called a major top in the bond market some months ago. He believed that the election of President Trump has created a change in global trend which will reverse the previously bullish conditions for bonds. As a result, the twenty-plus years of bull market in US Treasuries would soon be over, and the bond prices would go South from that point on. In this article, I will argue against Ray Dalio for a bullish case for bonds. First of all, I will show that his predicted change has not yet materialized, and is unlikely to happen in the short-term. After that, I will provide an additional reason to support my view that the underlying demand for US Treasuries is still going strong. _____ Again More importantly, the relevance to BLU is zero. Micro payments will still need to be made and the value of any crypto currency will not alter the value of any charges that any provider will make for their services as a micro charge, for which Satoshipay / BLU will receive a percentage. The forecasts by BCG: ("The Boston Consulting Group has more than 80 offices in 48 countries, more than 14,000 employees, more than 900 partners, and more than 20,000 alumni.") Forecasts: "Micro-transactions are expected to form 50 percent of the total transaction value on digital payments instruments within P2M (Person to Merchant) payments by 2020." "The number of users accessing internet services on mobile is expected to reach 3 billion by 2020" "The total value of global retail payment transactions was estimated at USD 16 trillion in 2015. This is estimated to increase to USD 21 trillion by 2020." That's over USD 10 trillion of micro-payments (less than $1.50 each) within three years from now. | simpletonremover
19/9/2017 21:47 | Ray Dalio, founder of the world's largest hedge fund, says 'bitcoin is a bubble' "Bitcoin today you can't make much transactions in it. You can't spend it very easily ... Bitcoin is a bubble," Ray Dalio said on CNBC's "Squawk Box" Tuesday. It's not an effective storehold of wealth because it has volatility to it, unlike gold," Bridgewater Associates founder tells CNBC.
