Here is the cash statement again:
“ “ Post year end, the Company increased its cash balance to GBP179,000 through the disposal of its remaining shareholding in NFT Investments and some of its shareholding in Guild Esports plc. The current value of the quoted investments held by the Company is approximately GBP147,000.”
There is a clear statement that they will seek to avoid raising further equity. There are other minor investments they could sell.
BLU has always been plagued by traders and the deramping traders are out in force today.
It’s very predictable and rather pathetic misrepresenting the cash position.

wouldn't read into it. Doesn't take much to move the share price either way. Handful of investors threw the towel in this morning. I'm certainly not.

The stated cash position of £86,575 is from almost six months ago. I imagine there can't be much of that remaining now!

I think it is important to look at the full statement regarding possible sale of Satoshipay within 12 months. It’s principal purpose is to better understand current and potential value:
“ Blue Star currently has a 27.9% interest in SatoshiPay's share capital, which is valued on the basis of the last external fund raise in 2019 at approximately GBP4.72 million. It has been the Board's view for some time that the valuation of SatoshiPay may have increased significantly since the last fund raise in 2019. In order to assess the market value of SatoshiPay the Board of Blue Star is looking to carry out a formal sales process at an appropriate time in the next twelve months which may lead to the sale of all or part of its shareholding in SatoshiPay. There is no guarantee that this exercise will result in a whole or partial sale but the Board believes it's important to undertake such a process so as to obtain a better understanding of SatoshiPay's current and potential value.”

The difficulty with this statement is that it will not reach anywhere near its potential within that period!

We could also find ourselves in a similar position as today with no updated valuations, what happens then?

Only surprise, for me, in the results , is that the company now plan to exit Satoshi within a year.

Quite what its worth is anyones guess.

But you omit the next bit:

The decline in NAV and loss for the year principally reflected the write down of four esports investments and the loss incurred on some of the Company's quoted investments. The Company ended the year with cash of GBP86,575 and this has been increased subsequently through the sale of some of the Company's quoted investments post year end to a current balance of approximately GBP179,000. The current value of the quoted investments held by the Company is approximately GBP147,000

I've doubled my holding in BLU as the medium term outlook seems very good. Quite a lot of selling probably from bored speculators in the main.

I'm back into BLU having bought 1m shares in the last few days - out since August last year. Will have to catch up with everything that has happened seemingly very slowly though Pendulum has quite a list of things to do going forward in the next year or so.

A quiet day Up 2% from 20 trades and a volume of 17.3 million. Good to see it holding Friday’s 10% gain as we await news.
