Recent AIM newcomer Blue Prism (AIM: PRSM) has released a promising set of maiden results for the half year to April. Revenues grew by a handy 21 per cent and momentum seems to be accelerating with 33 new customers added to the 57 in place at the end of October.

I am pleased this has been noticed since the results. The general market may have an effect through turbulent times but I intend to keep some of these through the ups and downs because I think this sort of technology encompasses the future direction.

Very robust half yearly results and great to see Management confidence in bringing Sales & Marketing activities planned in 2017 forward to H2 2016. Impressed with the stated 83% recurring licence revenues which is testament to high levels of customer satisfaction.

“Now the catastrophic scenario that many feared has materialized, making the disintegration of the EU practically irreversible,” Soros wrote in a June 25 essay reflecting on the U.K. vote for Project Syndicate. “The consequences for the real economy will be comparable only to the financial crisis of 2007-2008.”

So 28th of June results. Await with interest.
Seems that the mid-price is a bit out of kilter,in my opinion.
Some of those I imagine are buys?

broad numbers like prsm's market cap £72m, last years sales £6m. so price/market cap is 12 times sales.

OMG that is ridiculous, this could crash to 40p

'Today at the Company’s North American Partner World event in New York, Blue Prism continues to distinguish itself as the only enterprise-class Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software available for large, regulated industries, offering centralized management of a multi-skilled digital workforce that meets the needs of both business operations and the most discriminating of IT teams. Following a rigorous testing and roll-out process, the company has announced general availability of Version 5.0 of its enterprise RPA platform. As of Q1, more than 80 enterprises across the globe have successfully implemented Blue Prism’s latest software robots in demanding enterprise back-office environments to eliminate the rules-based manual data entry and processing work that humans shouldn’t be doing. This gives business functions a digital workforce that can be targeted to perform many different tasks that are best suited for machines, freeing up valuable human resources to focus on customer value driven work.'

'The transformation is already underway, and the World Economic Forum (WEF) believes five million jobs will be gone by 2020, irrevocably terminated by what they call the “Fourth Industrial Revolution.” The jobs most at risk in the immediate present, the WEF says, are “administrative and routine white-collar office functions,” though eventually advances in AI will provide corporations with the option of outsourcing virtually any job to automated services and entities.

What can humans do? The WEF recommends “upskilling.”

At least one analyst is more optimistic on the issue. J.P. Gownder of Forrester, a Boston-based tech research firm, says robots will replace some jobs, but will also create new ones. The new jobs, Gownder believes, will be training the robots.'

I think many stocks are expensive and so I am mostly cash.
However, one or two because of their line of business, in disruptive
technologies ,interest me.
I think stocks like this are worth getting early and riding out any volatility, for me,or I could just forget about their existence if I wait for any stock market correction.
I tend to not 'bet the farm' on any share though until the market becomes clearer.

IMO.
