Great results in difficult times.'Revenues have grown by 70%, we have secured GBP1 million in new monthly recurring revenue and maintained a world class gross revenue retention rate of 98%, notwithstanding our customers facing the most uncertain and difficult economic outlook in a generation. The recent fundraising of GBP100m has reinforced our strong position and insulates us from any further or prolonged disruptions as we progress to cash flow breakeven in 2021. It also places us well to respond to any opportunities that may arise as a result of trends to remote or distributed working, which our product and approach is uniquely well placed to capture. Our view on the significant potential of our market remains unchanged, and in many ways the current environment may stand to accelerate market development in the longer-term. Our product and approach mean we are well distanced from other market participants and as a result the Board and I remain absolutely convinced that Blue Prism is strongly positioned to deliver on the unique and compelling opportunity ahead of it."

Cash flow break even in 2021.

It should go past its historical high of £ 26 this time in coming days. Going forward their expenses are going to come down as globally companies has started accepted that working from home is the way forward due to covid-19. This will reduce their cost of occupying physical office space in whichever countries they want to expand further and may trim down existing offices as well.

This is a different environment right now! The question is what does the market see as positive compared to “normal” conditions. Company after company has gone bust reporting bad numbers or even declare bankruptcy.

The key question is, how bad are the news tomorrow to be actually seen positive in current conditions!

They raised 100 million pounds last month plus another 101 million from last years revenue that puts them in very strong position. New contracts from NHS, US army etc. plus there will be more that we will uncover tomorrow. https://www.prnewswire.co.uk/news-releases/blue-prism-secures-ps100-million-in-new-funding-865744739.html

Turnover? A great measure for investors, no one said, ever. Exactly how much was spent to buy this turnover? The recurring licenses are typically short lived too. Just 2-3 years. So they are spending to obtain new clients (which we should measure), along with declining license prices. We need to see a path to profitability and then I am all ears.

Bought back some Prsm shares I sold a while ago at 1137p. Interims out on Thursday. Best year ever last year with revenue + 83% and new customers + 73%.
Some of their new client base will be looking to scale up their automation processes.
One their clients Amazon (+40% this year so far) is a good illustration of how the pandemic may be impacting on Prisms client base.

10 June Blue Prism

LONDON, AUSTIN TX – June 10, 2020 — Blue Prism has teamed-up with Lateetud and ABBYY to support the US government’s latest COVID-19 relief efforts for small businesses, by helping to automate loan applications during the two rounds of funding, $349 billion and $310 billion respectively, allocated by Congress as part of its SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). The solution, currently being used by several U.S. banks, uses Digital Workers to automate process loan applications in a matter of seconds, for same-day approvals.
