leluot - that's a bit harsh I think. By AGM promises do you mean "late-summer PR push" and "investor roadshows"?

If so, I think there has been a PR push, even if it hasn't been as dramatic or shareholder-visible as we might have hoped for. IMO, the PR push included the Forensiq announcement, the new board appointment and the succession of articles (see blinkx site "coverage" page showing 5 articles between 5th August and 30th September). Maybe also the Skyrocket player announcement (7th Aug).

The PR push could also include the revamping of various websites that has been commented on on this bb. It could also include stuff going out through Burst Media News ("Burst Media News is a periodical newsletter for clients, publishers, partners and friends") which is where I found the updated Giant Realm summary page showing mobile audience was bigger than display audience according to September 2014 ComScore data.

There has also been a roadshow, although as small shareholders/shorters we didn't get to see it. The fact that they did use a slide on other ad-tech companies' share price performance suggests that they may indeed have been keeping to their intention expressed as: "The major drive here is to explain what/how and why the sudden down turn occurred and what actions the Company is taking to capture emerging opportunities" (from shroder's post 3207).

The fact that Richard Griffiths (twice) and River & Mercantile increased their stakes after 11th November may suggest the roadshow was reasonably convincing, although FIL reduced.

Jarvis, I think some of the medium sized players are also in the same position. I can't believe Yahoo! still do not have a syndication company. AOL and YouTube players are visible on many other websites.

DailyMotion on desktop is looking so much more like YouTube.

Precisely 1gw

They have kept NONE of their AGM promises

They say nothing and they do nothing

What odds a third profits warning?

Jarvis - "standard automated response then"

This is big news, I guess HBS hope it will go away?

I think if enough people remind them that no action represents condoning Edelman bullyboy tactics...what would be for now the second or third time.

Whether it is with reluctance, they need to make their position very clear.

Blnx will be lucky if it doesn't get trampled underfoot by the major beasts stampeding towards the waterhole.

Investor roadshow. In the absence of any obvious pr on the subject I called FTI to ask about whether there had been an investor roadshow at the time of the 1H results.

I was told that there was - and that as usually happens the brokers (Citi and Numis) took blinkx round the city after the results call to meet with the biggest shareholders and also with some of those who might be interested in buying in. No new information (beyond what was in the public results call) was used in these presentations although they did use a chart showing how the share prices of other ad-tech companies had suffered over the last year.

So yes there was a roadshow, but no it doesn't seem to have been particularly different in scope to the one that usually happens at results time.

Probably Yom. Persuade the poor PI not to buy, so he can get shares on the cheap.

Blinkx now needs to steal the initiative. Now is the time for the "Investor roadshow" and a limited share-buyback, plus a release of positive news with the developments in Mobile and Smart TVs.

Company management is especially excited about the mobile applications advertising which is still in its infancy.

So maybe they are better prepared for Mobile than I thought.
