11/11/2013 17:12 | You're right Neilyb, IC's John Barron holds these in his Investment Trust income portfolio and this week mentioned the "5.3 per cent yield and solid track record." In the article he also makes a compelling argument for having exposure to commodities, not least because sentiment is rock bottom, with the sector friendless and "close to a record underweight in portfolios" of many fund managers. Have held these in my SIPP for a while as a cheap way to get global exposure to a wide range of large-cap miners, oil majors etc. Have been very happy to collect the 5.3% yield and reinvest dividends while awaiting a re-rating. | m1das_touch
11/11/2013 15:57 | I am informed that these got another mention in IC and todays volume reflects that with lots of buying. 114 is the highest paid for some time. Great stock to hold and great to see todays interest. | neilyb675
26/10/2013 10:16 | Divi re-invested - love this share..............g Also gives me quarterly DIVIs which personally I prefer to interim and final DIVIs. | neilyb675

25/9/2013 10:55 | Current year yield about 5.4%. Up until a few weeks ago, don't recall a commodities fund ever yielding this much in the past. I've doubled up. | aleman
16/9/2013 19:19 | ex div (based on last year): 26.09.13 | neilyb675

07/8/2013 21:40 | I like these and was pleasantly surprised to find that they do a DRIP dividend which suits me perfectly as I am building my long term portfolio. Quarterly divi is another great feature. | neilyb675
07/8/2013 17:45 | Anyone holding...i hav a small amount but currently doubting my wisdom of buying | badtime
06/7/2013 09:52 | I like these a lot. If you look deeper in to what the fund consists of, then for me it gives me access to some very heavyweight stocks that to be quite honest are out of my price range to buy in any great quantity. These: Anadarko Petroleum - USA Antofagasta - Latin America BHP Billiton - Global BP - Global Chevron - Global Eni - Europe ExxonMobil - Global Glencore - Global Rio Tinto - Global Total - Global A nice quartly dividend and exposure to a great portfolio of companies. I believe this stock is undervalued at present. | neilyb675
19/6/2013 15:29 | That's a Thursday. Presumably, they go ex-dividend on the 26th. | aleman

23/8/2012 10:17 | 21 AUG NAV 119.68p - a 1% discount to NAV whereas CYN is at a 14% discount. | davebowler
28/3/2012 10:02 | Investec; ''BlackRock Commodities Income (BRCI) also has Total in its top 10 at 3.8%. The fund has recently regained its premium after trading at a discount from September of last year to mid-January of this year. It currently trades at a premium of 2.0% against its 1 year average of par.'' CYN is surely better value at a 15% discount to NAV. | davebowler
14/12/2011 11:02 | see notice on BRWM thread about discount and comparison with this trust . | arja
25/10/2011 11:38 | 21 Oct NAV 126.61p Including current year income (undiluted) XD This is still close to NAV whereas CYN is 15% below. | davebowler
03/3/2011 15:09 | BRCI is still overvalued compared to CYN | davebowler |
