The pricing for Sequence looks extortionate.
Little hope for them once a better and cheaper product is launched. |
Open Goal sums it up |
"So the competition is all Mickey Mouse?"
encouraging, all still using the same basic tech. need to make hay before a new bright spark comes on the scene. open goal for elevate. hopefully a platform to establish it as industry standard. |
Bring on the Cowboy Boots and Caviar! |
Just moving the champagne from the cellar to the pantry.
😊 |
Sounds like a load of symbolics.
I’ll wait and buy a case ;-) |
It would be symbolic. |
Why would you put a bottle of champagne aside? Will the shops sell out once the share price goes up?
If you wait till then, the cost of a bottle will seem insignificant relative to today as you’ll be so much richer. |
Not long now.
I think a bottle of Champagne put aside especially is a great idea. |

Personally I think the BIRD's technology is so leading edge that it has taken decades for the big boys to fully understand it and the potential it offers.
Although our evidence has been in front of them for decades, it's only big data, cloud and ai and the necessity for them to understand these technologies that has made them aware of our potential.
The world of video and online content would be so different today if one of the big boys had purchased us 10 years ago! |
I assume that the tech built by Streeter worked well but he found it difficult to monetise it via licensing to majors.
Using it in a browser-based editing platform which can be marketed directly to the masses is much harder work for the company but may be the only way of making money from it. Fortunately they seem to have an excellent crew who have been successful at building the platform and hopefully will be successful at marketing it.
The fact that many others, including the majors, are still having difficulty making it work, is very encouraging.
I do hope the tech is well protected by suitable patents and that Blackbird will police it strenuously.
We have a few weeks to wait until launch of the subscription model, after which it will be several more weeks until we hear how the numbers are stacking up.
Good luck all Twitchers. |

Yes, and we are the only ones who can do these things at scale and have evidence that we can.
All the big players know this. Just a matter of time. Decades of waiting, I'm on the edge of my seat and the champagne is ready for popping. |
elevate.io AND ?
Hopefully an answer within a month. |
Clearly the technology works, but from 2012, 2016 and 2014 respectively. |
Remember BIRD can do amazing things.
YouTube/Google
Quote from above "Forbidden licensed its cloud-based video editing suite FORscene to YouTube for use as part of bigger integrated systems for a number of clients, including NBC"
Microsoft
Quote from above "The virtual Edge Server, now available on the Azure Marketplace, is an alternative to the physical hardware ingest solution – enabling clients to upload video footage to, and publish full-resolution sequences from, their Forscene accounts without the need for any ingest hardware."
Sony
Quote from above "Forbidden worked together with Sony to create an integrated workflow and to provide a professional broadcast test case. This new workflow allows production crews to upload content directly from the Sony camera over a wireless LAN to the Forscene cloud, eliminating any delay between the shoot and post production." |
And who are Warmday232 when they're at home? |

They perhaps should be!
They are working on the problem I believe. |

Scenery our only Cloud competition in terms of ambition should be respected, they have thinking in many ways aligned with ours.
Their struggle (they made a video about it) is how hard this actually is.
We cracked the difficulty no one else has. |
There was an ad on ITV tonight, before the rugby, for "Adobe Express. Try it for free"! Are they scared of something? |
Shorts yes a few of us see it..
Name and shame if you wish it's a free speak BB.

He's not the only one on here either. One or two are a bit more subtle about it but easy to read. |
Gosh Stiggles is on it, surprised he can afford the internet connection with all the dogs he pumped.
I guess homeless shelters have free wi-fi?
He stalks me as he knows a great TA when he sees it, secretely wants to learn how to be great.
BIRD is my only "delay" but will out perform all of my other huge winners by a country mile.
His type are praying the offer gets to 4p so his £500 can buy 50 more shares.. Laughable.

So the competition is all Mickey Mouse?
That means it is up to the team to then deliver and make sure people are attracted from using existing legacy solutions. |
Just reading some of his other posts. Disgusting individual. Not a great speller either. 😀 |
