RNS tomorrow with director and NED buys? Followed by a steady stream of news. |
GB Good post, for me sales will be product led.
Marketing to me is raising awareness of a new tool that solves video production challenges
It’s a no brainier product helped by either wrong highly complex tools or hopelessly toy like tools that our competitors provide
Nick L is certainly able to communicate the benefits of elevate as a platform imho |
I wonder if they should do some Free video training courses for marketers
Say events in a number of Cities UK and US
Covering Creative ideas generation Simple filming Video editing with elevate Looking after your media through media management in elevate Distribution ideas Future direction
Could be cool way to seed |
Nice post, GB |
Cabi
Nice video from Daniel
elevate should be a no brainier in Corporate business video
The media management alone is such a big deal |
Cyberbub,
💯. An extra 4 million at that share price is probably the same as the more recent 1 million dilution. I thought the 8 million was for the failed PBB but can't remember. We need to raise another 8 million to extend the runway for another two years but don't think anyone will give it to us. Either that or actually turn a profit or sell the company. |
Sumit Rai didnt join BIRD until late Spring 2022 and it was him making the approach not the other way round. Would BIRD have got so far so fast without him? It's very doubtful. |
My point remains that even if we hadn't advanced the development any faster, if we had £5m still left in the bank today we would both be at a much higher SP, and would be able to launch a much bigger marketing campaign than we can now.
Of course we can't turn the clock back. I still believe that we will make very substantial progress both technically and in terms of paid users in the coming months. |

I'm not sure it's that easy to find good technical staff whatever the money.
It's the lack of qualified people to do the job, not the money. Getting a good team together is an extremely difficult task and the larger the team the harder it is, The big boys snap up all the top talent. |
McSean your post 25724 today, I wasn't referring to the £1m raised last year, but to the £8m raised in 2021 to develop Elevate. It's taken 4 years since then to reach 'more or less' commercial launch today. My point is that £8m was never going to be enough - if they had raised £12m+ at that time then IMO we would be 12 months ahead of our current position today - or at least we wouldn't be 6 months away from needing to raise more cash. And that £8m was raised at much higher prices, so raising an extra 50% would have caused minimal dilution. It's always the same with AIM companies - they never raise enough when they can, to guarantee being able to get to breakeven. The inevitable result is that the share price gets relentlessly pushed down by AIM spivs and shorters who know the company will need more money, and any money raised ends up causing much bigger dilution.
Having said that I've previously said that I would have no problem if they decide to raise another £2m even at these share price levels, for a full-on marketing campaign over the next few months to send the paying subscriber numbers 'hockey stick'. Then any future raises will be at much, much higher prices.
They said they will next report paying subscribers in September. I was a bit disappointed by that, as I'm sure they could do a quarterly update, but on reflection I suspect they don't want to give competitors too much information. Let's hope that the marketing campaign they have promised in the presentation gets us to 5-10,000 paying users by then!

Blackbird broadcast has very high levels of support it should be close to instant response
Engineering support for integration into complex workflows
High levels of security is another feature
You are not going to get that level for £15 month!
However I hope they are talking to the M&E sector because they will have good use for elevate for internal comms and social media promotions of their TV Shows |
JJ your post 25708, I don't think there is a major overlap between Blackbird and Elevate in marketing terms. The former is a professional 'broadcast' solution capable of integrating dozens of live feeds and editing them on the fly. Yes it shares a fair bit of the background tech of Elevate, but they are different markets and users = different pricing. Furthermore, it seems that Blackbird doesn't actually generate huge revenues compared to its technological prowess, so Blackbird users can't really complain. Finally, if Elevate truly takes off then I don't suppose we will really care what Blackbird users think :-) |
"Bonio is bullish???"
he liked that EVS "movement" comment ....the bowels of the earth are moving, something is happening....I can tell...he has been down ever since PBB potential dived |
We now have something to worry about 😂 |
"Bonio is bullish???" onset of the delusionary phase, usually 10+ years but can strike anyone down at any time :-) |
