I get what you are saying.
I always look ahead.
So users who have hardly ever used videos start to use them in Google Vids, the users then want to do more with Vids as they understand the benefits. I doubt YouTube Create and Google Vids development teams are oblivious of each others developments. The tech would be used across all platforms from amateurs to pro solutions, it's basically all in the cloud and that is where I hope Blackbird will come into the equation.fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞🤞 if not with Google with one of the others in this very fast growing field.🤞310;

I think it is important to see and understand what Google Vid is, and what it is not ...

Yep, very exciting couple of weeks, I think if any major news is to arrive, it makes sense for it to be during NAB 2024.

All my bets are on Blackbird at Vegas, and I mean it when I say that. My last roll of the dice!

Vimeo is a sitting duck it has a lot going for it but needs a new owner and a US Tech giant with deep pockets and determination could do a lot in the creator space and challenge YouTube.
