23/2/2024 23:42 | It can be a bit of a mugs game making predictions but I'm not afraid of mug status so I'd say the share price can quite easily hit 20p in April if (and only if) the seller is out. On that point surely there should have been a TR1. Momentum with the product launch and the end of any overhang could quite easily take it to 20p. The market does look forward to some extent and the product is in a sector with a massive buzz to it at present. I suspect there will be a fair bit of newsflow on partnerships and early metrics as well. | ![]() nick2412
23/2/2024 23:34 | "it’s the technology reaching a point of scale rather than niche." On that point SS said Blackbird codec 10 (patent filed in April last year) hasn't been needed for the Enterprise side of the business as yet but that it would be used for the 'new product'. I don't think elevate had been named then, I don't know what advances codec 10 brings, but I expect the patent filing gives full details for the tech-minded. It confirms elevate will be Blackbird's most technologically advanced product which, in turn, implies it will lead the way with regard to competition. SS also said EVS get access to all the technological advances, not sure if they will need it in line with SS's comments about Enterprise not needing codec 9 with codec 10 needed for scale, but as things advance you never know. | ![]() nick2412
23/2/2024 22:54 | Horneblower I can't see 20p by May unless there is a high profile all-singing-all-danc | ![]() cyberbub
23/2/2024 18:06 | elevate isn’t just a new product it’s the technology reaching a point of scale rather than niche. Significant time in history so looking backwards is missing the idea of the investment. imho Interesting times in an interesting if not crazy video market | ![]() nickb
23/2/2024 16:25 | Goggin, if you create amazing technological advances as Blackbird have done, the one thing you can't be sure of is how long it will take companies in the marketplace to accept that they need your advanced technology to enable their business to continue to prosper. Blackbird are ahead of much of the market with Enterprise. In the case of Elevate, they are again ahead of the market, but the market seems to be moving very fast towards where Blackbird are ready and waiting to supply what is needed. I would far rather be in the position of being ahead of the market than struggling to catch up! I predict that in the near future Blackbird will be praised as a visionary ground breaking technology company. | ![]() salmon9
23/2/2024 16:15 | Looks like I was a bit previous thinking the seller had finished :-( | ![]() shortsqueezer
23/2/2024 16:03 | i don't think it was setbacks. it was the placing at 28p which dropped the price and then it kept cascading down due to lack of confidence as a result. | ![]() jj_1237
23/2/2024 15:47 | I refer to all the hype around 20/21 which drove the share price up to 40p, successful companies don't lose 80% value with just a few setbacks. Let hope this time it's different | ![]() goggin
23/2/2024 15:22 | Thanks for the link Cabi, will be interesting to see the ‘attendeesR | spoonmuff
23/2/2024 14:47 | If you hold Goggin, you shouldn't really need reminding of the USP. It would have been odd to buy without that knowledge. I'd suggest registering with Investor Meet and listening to the presentations and you'll get a real insight. It looks like Premier Miton (Gervais Williams) has had one or two awful performers in their fund including Saietta which has just had a Friday afternoon announcement highlighting its insolvency unless a buyer steps in quickly with an offer. PM may well be the source that has had to trim a few here for client redemptions. | ![]() nick2412
23/2/2024 14:16 | Must be a hugely competitive field, After been here for 20 plus years, next time is always different. The market is not stupid and unless they can show real progress. Its just another me2 situation. What is their usp compared to the big boys? Why aren't the big boys sniffing as this would be mere beer money to them? The truth is, blue sky has been promised for such along time, is it really now after all the buss with the world Cup, Olympics etc has passed us by. I hope it happens | ![]() goggin
23/2/2024 14:03 | I suspect there are some delayed buys on the books with the quote shifting upwards. The 100k at 7.25p is mine. | ![]() horneblower

23/2/2024 14:00 | Everything seems to be going well AI and Video AI is going incredibly fast difficult to see us ambling along for 3 years before any corporate interest | ![]() nickb
23/2/2024 13:46 | Video, data and AI (plug-ins) ... as you say Ortega, coincidence or luck, but BIRD will be entering the three largest and fastest-growing markets. The caveat for data is if the player is launched with elevate. | ![]() nick2412
23/2/2024 13:27 | So the interviews and bookings are starting to give a clear picture that we are fully on track to launch coinciding with results. With the shockwaves of Nvidia yesterday and how everything is going to be accelerated and elevated in the world of content creation, Ai and technology in general. Coincidence or luck if the product is all that. It's gonna be one big kerching kerchong. | ![]() ortegaworm
23/2/2024 10:33 | Those have been my recent thoughts. Selling in Tranches at a Target Price as part of adding liquid to a fund to cover redemption's. These funds will have trigger points within their strategy to mitigate risk. It's not personal to them just risk management. What I believe is keeping us down here. With how tightly Bird is held makes complete an utter sense, which also means when the lid is off this gets blown out the water. #trancheselling | ![]() ortegaworm
23/2/2024 10:24 | Can't be Bed and Isa as that would be 35k | ![]() ortegaworm
23/2/2024 10:13 | What’s that James? Maximum 4 more CBFs before launch Hmm wow getting close | ![]() geheimnis2
23/2/2024 10:08 | I see the title of Ian's upcoming interview has just been released. 'The art of patience and how I made my first billion' Go Ian 😀 | ![]() jamesjmb
23/2/2024 09:08 | At some point the market will become aware of the good risk/reward opportunity that BIRD represents. The cash position underwrites the downside at say 4p. The upside is wildly bigger than the downside...when the news hits. Greed will greatly outbalance fear and we'll get some sharp spikes in the right direction. The market will then wake up to smell the coffee. 20p by May. 40p by September...unless T/O, in which case £3 by September. | ![]() horneblower
23/2/2024 08:56 | Unlikely to be bed and ISA as one years allowance is 285,700 shares (£20k). It could be using two years worth of ISA allowance but then why not do the full £40k? More likely is that our seller (Miton?) has an order to sell in 500k amounts at or above 7p and yesterday some fund or wealthy individual bought two clips. | ![]() horneblower
23/2/2024 08:54 | I was hoping that post the buyout he would have been giving interviews to larger outlets. | ![]() bonio10000 |
