Thanks for that excellent response. A good point re a lot more tracks. The below sea level stuff, I have seriously lost touch with all this tech side of things since my PHP, mysql days Like you say, it's absolutely essential that everything works 100% and under heavy load.
I never really doubted that every one in the team would be working really hard, I suppose I would just love to be watching developments and attempting to understand what it is all about and how it all works, but I think those days are long gone for me.

Yup! Was using FORscene in 2004 in a web browser to edit video over a mobile phone conneciton (sony ericsson). Awesome tech. Skip forward 20 years... challenge anyone to demonstrate we're doing anything fundamentally different now compared to then. But...

Good question! I guess it's a case of accounting for how they've spent their time. If I had to speculate...
1. Above sea level (visible to us), elevate HTML UI, not entirely new ground (captevate) but elevate is a new level (16 video tracks for starters), key metrics usability / performance / functionality
2. Below sea level, rearchitecting and refreshing tech stack e.g. aws / microservices / apis. Was a good post about it further up this thread afaik.
3. CPO, Summit taking the time to shape the offer from ground up, what goes in, when and how.
4. Opening up the platform to 3rd parties, big one. Not heard or seen much on it but expectation is there so assume engineering is ongoing.
To bring all this together, tech, functional, non-functional and commercial... is a big deal, as an investor I'd prefer they tread carefully rather than copy and paste at pace. Major mistep at this stage, when trying to convince people to switch to us, will be hard to recover from.
