I wasn't referring to what the free version needs, but what the paying version needs, to persuade people to pay.Where the 'cutoff' is drawn between free and paid features is a different matter. |

The free version could be brilliant but there may well still be a very good case to upgrade to paid to access additional features and capacity.
In fact I want the free version to do what it does perfectly. |

Shapes have been added to Effects > Generators. And quite a lot of customisation available. Very useful and could for instance be used, along with text, to create lower thirds (the banners at the bottom of videos with, for instance, the presenter's name etc.) |
