Cyber A lot of big money in Video in the US investment space. AIM is beyond finished I know so many investors who refuse to invest in AIM certainly very damaging to U.K. tech sector that requires capital investment
BIRD is valued below build cost
Captions valuation is aligned to their Avatar AI their editor is not the same is my view. |

Cyber
It’s not competition It’s a video avatar generated by AI Just some very basic clipping for the so called‘editor’ |
Do you have to swear in your pathetic attempts to deramp?
Is it really worth it? You have nothing better to be doing in your life than this? |
The company 'Captions' is a perfect example of a brand that is confusing - a name that is directly used in the actual editor software!Having said that their offering seems impressive in terms of AI features built in to a cheap $10 a month subscription. 'Captions' doesn't seem to have been included in the grid of competitors Bird showed in the September results presentation. Has anyone used 'Captions' yet? |
Cabi CapCut market is cracking and a ban is very likely
While a lot of CapCut users are not our target i would hope that we are gearing up with our free app to take advantage of the timing |
Hi Nick Appreciate your comment, but if you stand back, whilst they may have a different outlook, surely they would be singing the praises of the product and encouraging others to invest, friends, family etc, which creates momentum. If something is that good, disruptive in its market place, people have FOMO. The share price right now tells a very different story, however, I accept that the market is risk adverse to loss making, cash burning Companies. As I said before, it's an all or nothing share. I hope that the patience many have shown pays big rewards and it's not just more of the same old same old, where the only beneficiaries are the Directors that have enjoyed a nice living out of this Company for a long time whilst delivering nothing for shareholders. Imho. |
Thanks cabi
It's odd sky news Arabia has gone with a recent renewal
My guess is they are all lost clients. |
Bonio.
Multi-year deal signed with Next College Student Athlete (NCSA), who are a part of the IMG group. |
Video editing app Captions is looking to cash in on uncertainty around TikTok and ByteDance’s video editing app CapCut’s future in the U.S. by turning to a freemium model. |
bonio have you tried wayback internet? it caches older versions of web pages e.g. if i go back to july 2024 i can see chedder and sailgp but not cbs 19 news.
so two steps backwards and one step forward perhaps.
also looks like they had only one cbs logo in july but now they have two, so some explansion possibly.
also, if you right click on the logos and display image in another tab it reveals the date of the image upload. in the case of sky news... www.blackbird.video/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/download.png the year 2020 corresponds to of a blackbird announcement. the urls are preserved on the wayback internet versions of the home page too.
so the rise and demise of some clients could be charted to some degree through those logos, excepting those shy of any publicity. |
Any good news bonio? |
I don't think FIFA was ever on there. They seem reticent to have us link or refer to them.
Definitely only the last line that has changed. I check it most days.
CBS19 was the recent win. Buffalo Sabres is a really old account and smacks a bit of making up the numbers.
Historically changes have been due to lost accounts and 31 Dec might be a reasonable time for renewals. |
Work in progress bonio? Was unchanged a day ago Grid unfinished No Fifa |
Sorry if I have missed something, but at past presentations, IM said they were expecting breakeven on Enterprise. He also said that most of the effort was going on elevate.io, so the Enterprise overheads must surely be much lower than in the past, and so Enterprise should be break even or on paper be profitable due to the amended allocation of costs. |
NCSA College Recruiting is not familiar.
A new win? |
The grid of customers at the bottom has changed.
I assume Cheddar news has gone bust.
I thought Sky News Arabia had renewed? So not sure why that has changed, unless they have now gone.
No Sail GP either.
The replacements all look like old deals to me (Buffalo Sabres is MSG).
So a rearranging of logos or more lost enterprise clients? |
