Sorry if I have missed something, but at past presentations, IM said they were expecting breakeven on Enterprise. He also said that most of the effort was going on elevate.io, so the Enterprise overheads must surely be much lower than in the past, and so Enterprise should be break even or on paper be profitable due to the amended allocation of costs. |
NCSA College Recruiting is not familiar.
A new win? |
The grid of customers at the bottom has changed.
I assume Cheddar news has gone bust.
I thought Sky News Arabia had renewed? So not sure why that has changed, unless they have now gone.
No Sail GP either.
The replacements all look like old deals to me (Buffalo Sabres is MSG).
So a rearranging of logos or more lost enterprise clients? |
I really and trully hope my BIRD friends, after all this time have not lost faith.
It is disgusting and BIRD is my last AIM holding ever.
It is going up IMO.
Taking every leveraged PI out along the way.
That is why I just buy and hold all cash.

Well offered at 4.795 |

Creators / editors and investors are a different group of people.
Having seen the product and actually use it I have gone and bought more shares |
I'm surprised there are no teasers. If anything to keep the 40k+ interested.
You don't need radio silence. |
You would think that enough people have seen the product so far to generate some interest share price wise. Is that too simplistic? |
My feeling is as elevate progresses it could well move into our traditional enterprise products space over time, a broadcast media tier. The very high levels of security required by some of those clients would have to be met, and some plugins developed to interface with broadcasters infrastructure.
But that’s later.
elevate has been designed from the ground up fresh not a modified enterprise product which is why it has taken more time but the payoff is better |
Maybe the core is going to be more useful to elevate than to enterprise. |
Hyper,
Given the talk about patents etc since at least the decision to sell to enterprise, it suggests either bird have the most useless sales team ever or companies don't care about the core. Maybe both conditions are true... |
NickB A shock does not necessarily have to be created by the product itself. It can be caused, for example, by a novel application or by who adopts its use. |

Hornblower Glad it helped a bit I personally wouldn’t call it very basic, it does depend what the project is of course and the user skill is the strongest or weakest link
Let’s see what the paid version has in say March
elevate is not a TikTok style flash effects video tool it’s more serious narrative video editing tool that builds story it’s more Professional in away
However fancy effects are coming probably via plugins keyframes are also coming
A lot of eye candy effects in other apps are not as difficult to achieve once we have minor updates once they are implemented you get an explosion of what effects you can achieve. |
The CORE
You must think we were born yesterday. Look at the share price and the lack of contracts. That shows the excitement around The CORE |
NickB, Thanks for your reply.
Your first paragraph regarding what you call the "CORE" is, I absolutely agree, the key to Blackbird's future.
Features and add-ons are just the bells and whistles which make the core useful, but are not as important, as they can always be added as and when needed. They are however, important from a pricing and marketing point of view.
That is why I asked whether you thought the current elevate offering, with its very basic but essential set of features, is ahead of the competition. It is a key question which, as an outsider, I am unable to answer. |

Testing it LA / Hollywood hills perhaps 😮
Sorry bad taste |
Sparks will fly, they’ll be everywhere in no time. |
Hyper Why thanks |

It’s a Platform so we need the editor to feed the Player and the Player can bring creators to the editor so 360 degrees 😀
Its a fantastic end to end strategy completely missed by ‘the market’ |

Your last post was top notch. 11 coins for your efforts.
