Salmon Great perspective, hopefully helpful to many here. |
Bonio.
Must be doable, as EVA was vertical video. |
Reddit in response to a YouTube shorts question.
Glacial.
Support for vertical video is something that’s definitely on our roadmap, but we don’t have an exact launch date yet. Keep an eye on our socials for the latest updates so you can be the first to know! |
I hope this perspective assists some investors............. Around 40 years ago, my wife and I set up a consumer orientated mail order business, in the leisure sector, from scratch, with no customers to start with. We invested £40,000 and in the first year, on paper, we lost £40,000.
We believed that our product range was well selected and over the next couple of years we improved the quality of our mail order catalogue and we fine tuned our advertising. We progressed step by step, and after some years became market leader and made substantial profits.
The key to our success was seeing and understanding how our type of business was projected in the USA. We applied this in the UK and that was the trigger for success. It was years ahead of the competition.
We sold the business when it felt like enough was enough and we wanted more time to relax.
Looking at Blackbird and elevate.io, I recognise that an outsider, without deep knowledge of the marketplace and technology would have no idea what it is worth. The current share price graph suggests that it might not have a bright future.
However, the share price descent is on small volumes of trading and the transformative technological development of the elevate.io is not transparent to investors who may simply look at past financial results, and complex technology, and decide it is safer to invest elsewhere.
Having been through my business experience, I am unaffected by the share price decline. I recognise it is disappointing, but I see it for what it is, which is a trend which is totally separated from what is going to happen over the next 6 months.
As elevate.io progresses to the subscription model, and both users and investors get to see the products performance and potential for future growth, the share price will doubtless move upwards to reflect the progress.
The current share price is logically far too low, and is divorced from elevate's commercial potential, both short and long term. It places no apparent value on elevate.io at all, which makes no sense.
What an amazing buying opportunity, but most of us have as many shares as we could possibly need once success is apparent to all. As humans, we all have a finite life and so there is a limit to what we could possibly need to fund that period.
My advice is to stay with it and focus on the horizon. |
They do need to give us something next week IMO, even if it's just something to give us confidence that all is on track for the launch. |
Jbravo Looks like your finger was the fastest today :/) |
Yes in an hour or two I suspect
Edit: Yes just looked up NMS, its only 20,000 |
Jbravo I assume your 150k buy will be printed a bit delayed as it was just moments before market close. |
They gave me a token Far from what i wanted The 129k was not mine either .. No real seller here. Tomorrow’s another day ! |
lol.
Didn’t realise the time, as I got a day off. |
:D Its gone 4.30 |
I can’t get a fixed quote for 1k shares now. |
OK, 5p disappeared very quickly so took that 150k @ 5.06 May prove premature so only a dip of the toe :D
Edit: Oh I see they haven't printed mine yet |
Washing machine, did you get your purchase, and if so how many shares and what price, if you don't mind me asking? |
Indeed it is! Interesting! |
I think it must be changing by the second jbravo. With I.I. I can now sell 300k at 4.8p, but only buy 50k at 5p. |
It suggests that perhaps that the guessed time limit of EoY maybe optimistic. Or of course they really are near the end of the selling. (I don't actually believe that, but acknowledge it is possible) I shall wait to buy... convinced much cheaper is going to be available |
I was out in the last hour and whilst it's true the bid has firmed slightly (an extra MM prepared to quote over 50k over 4.5p, it's also true the ask has softened. Can now get a quote for over 300k shares available at 5p exactly. The spread narrowed from both directions. |
Should have been filled by now. Unless it's several million :-) |
So what's your interpretation jbravo? |
Selling "at any price"? I don't think so, not yet anyway, look at the chart. Its a slow deliberate decline of the offer. |
Who knows Cabi. As I said, in the past I know that brokers have taken big blocks of shares onto their books at a 70-75% discount. If they believe that they can shift most of them at a 100-200% profit (far more than a typical 1-2-5% spread!), then even if they have to sell the last lot at breakeven or even a small loss, they're quids in.I don't know if that's what's happened here, I hasten to add.NAI etc |
I think the term that was used is "verified users" which conveys a sense of them being the real thing i.e. hey really are using elevat.io and are no just a list of names who were registered |
Cyberbub.
I don’t think there’s much left to clear out.
I’m pretty sure Miton have just wound down one of their funds which had about 4m BIRD in it.
I don’t believe they would close there whole position, and they would never attempt to shift that in the market, and MM wouldn’t take much BIRD on their books, as they could never shift it either.
I recon they might want it all done by Friday, and that’s why we have dropped last few days, and happy to shift at any price.
Hopefully Washingmachine clears it all out, then we get a 100k user RNS, and the stock bounces. |
