The fact is that between the 24/09 (10K) and the 27/11 (40K) the number of verified users rose 3x. If they can continue at this rate they should have well in excess of 100K by the end of Q1 2025 and there has been very little publicity about the release date and what software options will actually be available. The one key determinant of the share price is the rate of conversion from verified users to paying users. 10% will see BIRD breaking even and more than that will create free cash flow that can be used to promote e.io more aggressively. |
Well the CFO bought more at 7p recently. We will have to wait until March next year for an indication of paying subscribers. This from AllenbyBlackbird plc* (BIRD.L, 6.0p/£23.2m)Update: Substantial growth in elevate.io users (20.11.24) elevate.io, the online collaborative video editing and content creation platform, now has more than 40,000 users in 120 countries. This compares 800 at the start of September. Recent additional features and functions include text generation, transformations, transitions and team structures and further features are being constantly added. Paid tier is on track for launch in Q1 2025.Allenby Capital comment: Blackbird is seeing strong uptake of its elevate.io cloud-based collaborative video editor for content creators and continues to expand the feature set. Cloud-based collaborative platforms have enjoyed considerable success in other fields (such as accountancy, word processing and design) and video editing represents another suitable application and Blackbird has a differentiated product offering.*Allenby Capital acts as Nomad and Broker to Blackbird plc. |
Irrelevant until the rest join him you mean. A sell quote for 100k is only available at c.4.8p You can buy 625k at the lowest available quote.
It's stacked to fall further as other MM's won't like to be left high and dry. |
There's been talk of a seller for a very long time. Fingers crossed for the New Year 🎊 |
Makes sense that an institution has to sell by year end for it’s portfolio results |
Well I can still sell 50k for 5.06p so the MM offering 3.5p is irrelevant?Buy 50k for 5.44p at the moment. Same price for 500k.Clearly there is more selling pressure though. I wonder if an earlier poster is right, and the insti who apparently want out need to sell by 31st Dec and don't care what loss they make? Window dressing, redemptions etc. |
Looks like this will test potential support again. I think its fair to say the market is somewhat sceptical to say the least. |
One of the MM's just voted with their feet. They'll now only pay 3.5p to take shares off you. Only a matter of time for the others to join. 4p incoming again. |
After nearly 25 years, they still have not made it to Awareness to Consideration. |
You have 3 stages of product marketing :
1. Awareness to Consideration
2. Consideration to Purchase
3. Purchase to Continued Preference
They have yet to even make a real reach into product awareness...but..behind the scenes ..work is being prepared for stages 2 and 3 |
Youri Hazanov,Nick Lisher and Sumit Rai really have not yet moved into the next stage .... so there is plenty to see yet |
I'll be ten years next year. Madness. Every year there are similar comments to yours and yet they squeeze out another fundraising etc. Hopefully next year will be different but it's worth recalling the veed io post on Reddit, describing his first steps. Our team are old fogies against the dynamism of someone doing all nighters who is young and cool. |
G2, Im surprise to find I've been here just over 4 years. The team might not have delivered on the earlier promises, but they have built on the technology. This next year will be make or break, visible commercial progress MUST be made. |
'Unlikely to get to 60p if it can’t get to 600p'
I think this is a very under rated point Nick.
A small success into a global market can quickly become a very large success, we're talking SaaS, where success can be exponential.
It's not like a corner shop expanding into the next village. |
Feels like we have been having roughly the same discussions for years - if not decades!
Hopefully 2025 will bring success |
James I understand your point
For now don’t think in share prices.
Are you invested in the company and what disruption the technology will bring for creators in video all across the world or invested in the stock price?
Currently the market does not believe hence the price |
I expect success too Nick but at this stage talking about £6 seems fanciful imo, I'd say a lot of gears to go through before it happens. I still trust the business. I am trying to be realistic, for myself at least. 🙂 |
‘Nothing to suggest‘
elevate and the Player suggests to me great success coming. |
Unlikely to get to 60p if it can’t get to 600p |
If you believe e.io has any future whatsoever 10p or even 60p is derisory.
Look at the business, not the share price.
If we can become the Canva or Figma of video then we are looking at
££££ not pence
You might feel that ‘can’ is doing a lot of heavy lifting, and it is, but that is why we are here and not in AV. (although I am in both). |
£6 a share. Nothing to suggest it will get near this. 60p would be good. I live in hope. 😊 |
So getting on for a month since the questionnaire about what people wanted next.
Either they are glacial in responding to consumer needs or they had none of the options ready to go. |
I think we will be fine.
I just think whoever is selling needs it all done before Christmas/New Year.
If I had some spare cash I would take a few. |
I need that £6 per share
I feel like we're on a sinking and certain posters are demanding a concorde to New York. I'd be happy with a life raft if there was any room left.
Fingers crossed we'll see 10p again 🚀 |
