“Everything is realistic” - perfectly encapsulates the problem with this board. |
I am not a technical expert, but I just received an email from TVU with this link, and wonder if this is an example of them using Blackbird Enterprise technology which they associated themselves with approx 18 months or so ago. |
Everything is realistic Pat
I find it encouraging that so many investors here have such a downer on the company and the share price is close to all time lows.
They don’t even rate elevate and what has been achieved So I’m happy to bet against that mindset!

Now we’re being a little more realistic, Nick. More of that please. |
Pat
Maybe he should talk with Youri Hasanov at Jellysmack |
frankly I have no idea what he does with his working day.
I am reassured he is fully invested though. I don't doubt his sincerity. |
He's probably still working on convincing Anne and Nick to buy some shares |
I wonder if IM woke up one morning and thought - I wonder how best to market the launch of my new online video editor, the features and functionality of which I’ve just got above the waterline…I know, I’ll sign a deal with an existing major video production and publishing channel. And then it was so. |
Exactly They have even hinted at partnerships
SO Many investors just don’t believe so it’s hardly surprising the wider investor community takes no notice!

concentrate What do you think IM is doing to fill the hours of his working day? It's not overcoming the technical problems that face the team as that's SBS's realm, it's not overseeing the move of the product towards its Q1 release date as that's SR, it's not finance that's SW. He could be planning for acquisitions but given BIRDs size that seems very unlikely. At this stage he will be more than likely talking to potentially big users and doing what is necessary to get them on board. If they've got a competent team around them that's what most CEOs of smaller companies do day in and day out as they try to make their company grow into a big player. |
Sometimes this board reads more like fan fiction than investor discussion. |
‘ pre-launch acquisition theory coming true’
Indeed 👀 |
bisho4
One would hope for partnership announcement, maybe subscriber number updates and a review or two.
Seems a good opportunity not to waste
We shall see. |
Chris, <0.5% I’d say. That may be being generous. In fact, there’s probably a higher likelihood of the pre-launch acquisition theory coming true. |
I am less interested in what Ian might potentially say in nudges and winks, and more interested in what Ian says in RNSs. |
Chris
Watch this space as Ian would say |
I like the sound of that, but it is pure speculation. |
It's often the case that when I look at options available to me I think about what others might do in response. It helps eliminate unpleasant surprises. But it can also open up other options.
So we know that BIRD is using Amazon for elevate.io but not exclusively. I read that as being the provision by Amazon of Cloud storage and facilities. But that does not necessarily mean Amazon itself using elevate.io though they do make a lot of video/films.
Obviously the launch of the paying product options is a Big Bang moment but what would you like to do if you were in IMs shoes? ... making the Bang even bigger might have some appeal. So what is the likelihood of having a non exclusive deal with an existing major video production and publishing channel and announcing it at the same time? What other options would draw similar attention to the elevate.io release? |
jv, you mis-read a previous post. Best to stop digging. |
I’m thinking there might be a great trading strategy just buying forced sales from institutional investors |
Another 2 x 250k sales again like yesterday |
Another 500k sold at 5.55.
Hopefully if it’s an institution and they need to be all done by year end. |
