It’s the impression I get! Do you see it differently?
What are they doing wrong and who do we replace?
Do other shareholders agree we have top talent at Blackbird?
I’m surprised this is a conversation |
NickB, You often make what sound like informed statements regarding Blackbird's employees and what they are doing. Presumably you have a direct connection, otherwise you wouldn't have access to this kind of knowledge. Perhaps, without letting out too much, you could inform us of the nature of that connection? |
We do have to leave them to get on with it. A LOT of talent working at Blackbird including very experienced non execs |
cyberhub I don't think anyone is panicking, I think some of us simply find it reassuring to understand what is going on and why. Hearing a rational explanation here may just assist some shareholders. It may well be that later today there will be a late announcement of a largish sell which would explain the decline in share price, but that would simply be because one shareholder needs liquidity at this time.
It is without doubt best to wait patiently. |

plenty of potential investors would happily pay 15-20p a share off the back of factual results data , against paying 7-8p against pure speculation ...
It also seems clear at this stage that they are being very cagey about what they give out.... for commercial reasons ... they know pretty well that everything they do at this stage is being watched closely by competitors ..
plus..you dont want a paid launch to fall flat given that right now, for example ,everyone is focused on the US election and the UK budget and their implications for business taxes, consumer spending (ww3!) etc etc
Everything is very tactical ..I suspect the next 4 months are pretty much marked out week by week... aiming to throw out new stuff in order to keep the interest and to try and meet expectations...
I suspect there are sign-ups from those who tried it early on and are now waiting to leap forward and use a more finished product as features are added to their needs...
The markets are going to be wobbly in the near term, so anyone wanting out to get some cash might be understandable..depending on their circumstances ..you can already see markets adjusting to a possible Trump win... and what that might mean !! |
The share price dropped twice this morning but neither appears to be linked closely to any sales... two more substantial sales to be reported late tomorrow possibly? |
Can we all stop panicking. The value of trading today is barely £1,500! |
I am invested in the technology and its potential. I have zero interest in the share price at this moment in time. It's irrelevant. I have used the product, and it is fantastic. Have you?Clearly, there is a seller, and they are happy to be filled at a lower price. There really really is nothing to see here. |
Bonio,
You don't understand. As NickB said the backend engineers when finished will switch to become graphics design experts and focus on the front end. Heck, I'm sure the accountant will also chip in with front end design and I imagine Ian will learn how to code too. It's going to be amazing 😍
The share price is meaningless as is revenue and probably the product itself. Apple will buy the company for a Billions just to get the slow Internet patent.
Whoosh £37 HCBF |
Salmon Correct
I could pull out a random name AIM company out of 1000 and simply wouldn’t understand it and would not invest. |
It just seems to me that although we can see huge potential and great expectations for elevate, because we have patiently taken a large amount of time and effort, to understand the company, the new investors that we would like to attract, just don't notice or understand the potential of what they currently perceive to be a very small AIM company not worth spending research time and risk money on. I think it is probably about as simple as that. Breakthrough news of commercial progress and success, will hopefully break the investment inertia. |
I have better things to do.
And if that's the case - let's move to paid now. |
Maybe if you did some actual video editing you would see it proving itself 😀 |
I think there needs to be more in the way of users numbers and actual users, not just registered accounts.
Then there needs to be something more tangible on what a released product looks like. My guess is that it will not be far off where we are now, with more storage. |
Not even among the 100k users. It would seem there is still quite a bit to prove before any real interest. |
Correct me if I am wrong, but I am sure Alice never got a taste. |
This isn’t going anywhere until they can prove they can monetise elevate.io.
Maybe a big jump to 100k users, might encourage people
Just seems there’s no interest at moment. |
Obviously the seller doesn't read charts. |
Must be a seller, MM dropped bid to 6.5p. |
Morning interest lacking and sellers around :( |
Top crew involved so I have high expectations |
Reaching 100+ countries at this stage is certainly extremely interesting.
..and how an initial small number of sign ups in a location can have the potential to multiply, given today's forms of Internet and social media communications..
Are the rapid number of growing users going to put some wind in the sails to drive development ...faster ?
After all....they need to keep up with their potential customers expectations if they genuinely want to hang on to them
If the wind catches the sails, are the boat crew going to keep up ? !!!!! |
Very useful article on conversion rates Nick! Maybe the thread owner can put it in the header so it's not lost? |

If say you have 30 engineers working on the backend architecture of elevate for the past 2 years what are they going to do once a lot of that work has been done?
Move the engineers to more visible front end features work?
I reckon we may start to see more and more features added quicker.
Just a thought |
Poker - I am sure there are.
Take out Holidays and we are probably about 4.5 working months from paid launch.
I don't think that will include the Player or the Marketplace. |
