Investor discussions regarding Blackbird Plc (BIRD) from February 5 to February 12, 2025, have been a mixture of scrutiny and optimism concerning the stock's performance and market behavior. Notably, many investors expressed concerns about potential market manipulation and opacity in trading practices, with comments suggesting significant trades might not be reported promptly, which could lead to undue panic or promote speculatory trading. One investor remarked, "It certainly feels like the price is being held where it is," indicating a belief that external factors might be influencing stock prices beyond typical supply and demand dynamics.
Financial highlights indicate a notable interest in the company's monetization strategies, particularly in relation to their new product, with one investor observing the peculiar timing of a large sell order coinciding with significant announcements. The underlying sentiment remains mostly positive, with many expressing confidence in the future of Blackbird. Comments like "I have never been so calm in my BIRD investment" and discussions around large institutional interest provide an air of cautious optimism among shareholders. Overall, despite the chatter regarding potential volatility and manipulation, many investors remain committed, believing that BIRD's innovations could lead to profitable outcomes, with one stating, "I have put a lot of money on BIRD being able to monetise successfully."

Also, it would seem logical to me to expect a higher percentage of subscribers to free users in the professional segment compared to the expected result in the even larger amateur segment. |

And yet…here we are at 7p |
I don't think anyone is justified in saying that elevate may be the best out there. Best at what? It's certainly not best at loads of things. |
Bring on a bidding war. 😋 |
The price that a big player may pay could be influenced by what they would spend to stop a competitor getting it. |
‘Elevate may be the best out there...but do we really know what others have been working on.’ |

While I am more positive than I have been for years (held these for 20+years) we have to acknowledge that the Company have never actually been able to make money from their products. That must be in the back of our minds - even those who like me - have been holding for decades. |
thanks salmon , all good valid points!! |
Agreed. And I think we have until the new year to stock up at bargain prices. |

This month. Maybe sooner than expected. |
100k sign up RNS - any guesses when? |
I think it is likely some have the big boys have had conversations around buying us but I think SS and IM have a figure that is probably way beyond what any of the big boys are prepared to pay at this stage so everything is BAU to grow the brand. Does not mean a buyout is out the question in my humble opinion. Only in the advanced stages would an RNS be required. |
Apologies all, missed that. |
Wakey wakey, McSean. |
mcsean - from that link it appears that SVG files are only for Blackbird and not for Elevate. So johnveals is correct in saying it's for the M&E project. |
Even if you intend or hope to sell, you don't put everything on hold. You carry on building the business. |
Ian sounding very upbeat and confident in that interview. |
