Ok, looks like most first set-ups of direction change are failing. Pays to step back and wait for further indicators. Certainly it appears to signal more downside to come... Indeed there has been a valid short trigger on the FTSE, normally would expect currencies to lead though...

Things looking a bit nasty again this morning, currently have a Dax target of 7352, but with a gap down at open last night left unfilled, hmmmmm


*edit*, its was at about 7380 before i wrote the above, i didn't trade it as i was too late to the set-up, but it beat the target easily within 30 mins...

I'd say mystifying rather than worrying - as you say, there may be delayed orders awaiting completion.

there is a possibly of some large delayed trades. If so, we may have to wait a day or two to know for sure.

This drop is worrying.

Methinks u r right , but that is what MM's are good at

The share price of ATD however is now a nat's whatsit off it's low of 10p

So 10p is a key support chartwise

If it breaks then

the chart could look like this IF no positive news breaks that shows ATD are going to make profits this year

At 5p if it gets there, I might be tempted, I have looked at this a couple of times as I have said, but the last 2 years numbers don't make for good reading.

Times are tough at the moment in the Pharma area, and elsewhere. But big pharmas are cutting down on spending money to develop new drugs and buying other mid sized Pharma's with new drugs ready for approval or just approved.

So one has to be very picky/selective about which company to invest in .... not many small CRO's in the pharma biotech sector are making profits most are losing money.

Very aggressive selling. Someone clearly wants out: a selling climax would be no bad thing IMO, as looks to me that there has been a persistent big seller who has been taking the confidence out of the share for some time.

price fallen about 10% this morning.
someone seems to be selling consistently in 20,000sh lots.
is this warning of another down leg?
