DIVIDEND DECLARATION

BioPharma Credit PLC (LSE: BPCR), the specialist life sciences debt investor, is pleased to declare an interim dividend in respect of the financial period ending 31 December 2020 of $0.02040119 per ordinary share, payable on 31 March 2021 to ordinary shareholders on the register as at 19 March 2021. The Company has chosen to designate the entire amount of this interim dividend as an interest distribution. Shareholders in receipt of such a dividend will be treated for UK tax purposes as though they have received a payment of interest. This will result in a reduction in the corporation tax payable by the Company.

The $0.02040119 return comprises an ordinary dividend of $0.0175 and a special dividend of $0.00290119. As a result, total dividends corresponding to the 2020 year totalled $0.07300119 per share.

The Company is currently paying and continues to target a 7 cent annual dividend per ordinary share.

The default payment for dividends is in US dollars. However, shareholders can elect to have dividends paid in sterling (GBP) and the option to elect a sterling dividend payment for this dividend will be available to shareholders until 19 March 2021 (the "Election Date").
