The RNS says that Chris Walker was appointed "Chief Financial Officer and Chief Restructuring Officer for Allegiance Coal Limited's U.S. assets.":

Apparently he was appointed on 2 Jan 2023:

This happened eight weeks later:

Doesn’t matter. I just think Walker is there to take ownership of all the equipment, permits and other useful stuff that Bens Creek Operations LLC owns and is secured in some way to Avani and the plc will be cut adrift. Wait till the changed loans and working capital agreement is published.

The revelations of the new CEO's recent track record, as revealed in the article highlighted by bbmsionlypostafter Mk2:

Ben’s Creek new CEO you could not make this up? Oh…it did!

should be enough for any sane investor to run a mile and not stop running!

Given that it is drowning in debt and unpaid bills, haemorrhaging cash and sitting on an asset which has sent all previous owners bust, Ben’s Creek (BEN) is not in a good place and I had pondered who would commit career hara-kiri by taking over from Adam Wilson of Daniel Stewart infamy as CEO. The answer… you could not make it up...

🤣🤣 I was born, in 1945, in a terraced council house in Dagenham, purple11. However I currently live in a detached bungalow in a suburb of Nottingham. Just thought I'd set the record straight as I know how you like facts! 😁
I don't pretend to be a genius, but I'm very well qualified in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, chemistry & physics. I also post facts and tell the truth which is very rare on these advfn bb's, which seem to be composed almost entirely of posts by rampers, pumpers & dumpers and derampers! Are you amongst those purple11?

My long term log and short term traders charts for SHEL, WTB & BA. posted for Dudishes last night on this thread show that one should study charting techniques in detail and concentrate on large, well established companies (FTSE 100 & 250 companies) to invest in. Charts work far better on them than on AIM and Standard listed minnows, such as BEN, ENET & EISB. Dabbling in their shares is just gambling, not investing. If the gamble comes off the long term rewards can be exceptional, but the chances of that happening are very, very, low!

PS RR. is another FTSE100 share that has multi- bagged in under 3 years after a Golden Cross appeared on my log chart

Actually. There might be more to this.

Avani would have placed Walker as CEO of Bens Creek Operations LLC. This part of the group has guaranteed the debts and we do not know what the covenants are. Also they are renegotiating the working capital deal now and that will be horrible for the plc. Watch this space for a massive shareholder scalping.

New CEO? Not really.
“Following the appointment of Chris Walker as CEO of BC Operations, Adam Wilson will step down as CEO of BC Operations but will remain on the Board and CEO of the Group until Chris joins the Board as CEO of the Group. Following this, Adam will assume a position as an Executive Director of the Group for a further period of time, to be agreed. Adam will also remain an employee of BC Operations until 31 October 2024 to assist in the orderly handover of responsibilities to Chris.”

AW remains CEO until some future point. Moveable feast this one.

Tks Papillon.

Took a short BA. prior results day, held 2 days, 33pts gain. I had not intended to go long despite the good news.
Remains on the watch list as orders rather strong.

We shorters like results day, but it does not always work, I lost 50% by going long day before with OBD results!

SHEL and WTB, no position as yet, but now thinking positive move rather than negative.

Tks for your opinion.

This SHEL longer term log chart has been Strongly Bullish since early 2021, Dudishes, when a golden Cross appeared on the chart .
I'll post a shorter term Ichimoku chart to confirm this Strongly Bullish trend is likely to continue.

Though this Ichimoku chart is not yet Strongly Bullish it looks though it soon will be. So the longer term uptrend is likely to continue.
I should also post Ichimoku charts for both WTB & BA. I might post them tonight. If not I'll post them tomorrow.

BA.longer term log chart. This chart is Strongly Bullish and has been since a Golden Cross appeared on the chart back in early 2021. You've done exceptionally well if you bought around 3 years ago, Dudishes. Keep holding.
I noticed results issued today. The 14 day RSI might have peaked. In which case you might see a temporary consolidation, or even a slight weakness.
The Ichimoku chart has been Strongly Bullish for around 2 months. I'll look at this Ichimoku chart to check it remains bullish.

The WTB longer term log chart as requested Dudishes. You've definitely backed a winner there! The chart is Strongly Bullish and has been since very early in 2023 when a Golden Cross appeared on the chart (when the 50 day EMA rises above an already rising 200 day EMA). Keep holding.
The 14 day RSI is also rising which is another good sign of further rises in the share price in the short term. Well done!

Edit Short term Ichimoku chart has turned Strongly Bullish. So both the long term and short term charts are Strongly Bullish. You're onto a winner, Dudishes.

I do not concur that all the shorts were remotely telling the truth.

I do concur that the price of coal more than halved.

I do concur I constantly said during the fall there were enough genuine global economical reasons why BEN were struggling, I did also produce a list of circa ten sensationlist lies posted by shorters a few years back.

I do not concur that BEN was run by charlatans I was soecifically refering to historical promoters who made money off shore or through crooked means.

Another prime example of you using comments out of context and making false assumptions or huge assumptions in many of your shorts that are not certain but MAY occur if additional finance is not found.

Case proven M'Lord by the anti AIM vultures.

AIM needs to introduce the ASX and TSX methodology of ensuring a more orderly market by immediately suspending a share when a placing is due. It makes sense and should prevent the current level of spread betting etc.

I do concur you are far more polite than the majority but some would say far more cunning.

However, I commend the fact that you do also tend not to post sensationlist journo shock horror downright lies as your potential outcomes are based on a possible outcome that may well occur.

Despite some idiots posts I goot out of what was a relatively small position that multibagged into a big position for me because I could see the genuine reasons why the share price had got out of control due to the constant delays etc. For that I thank the genuine negative comments I posted.

However, Share Prophets pathalogical hatred for anyone vaguely connected with Daniel Stewart and assumption that they are all crooks nearly stopped me selling them all out of a sense of fair play tbh.

That is enough from me.
