Posted at 29/1/2021 10:25 by masurenguy Slight uptick in the buying price to 26.99p this morning. This share is tightly held with 8 major investors holding 73.58% and directors holding a further 6.84%. Consequently, it remains fairly illiquid with the potential to move up or down on quite modest volumes. Posted at 01/12/2020 08:10 by thirty fifty twenty hi nicoyes great progress on debt reduction but i think it has heavily benefitted from WC reductions too. the business defo generates CASH but i dont think one should extrapolate the progress from the last 18months since the new CEO took charge. for me though the fact that debt is likely to be < 1times EBITDA by year end takes the company into a new level of de-risking which should support a further re-rating. for me biggest news was that the order book is at all time high, and that they have confirmed they likely beneficiary of Gvt Green spending for growing Social Housing market which in itself the Gvt is committed to large spending on. so say 4m EBITDA, in a CASH generative business with low debt - i think the current MV of 15m is a very good risk / reward. All IMHO, DYOR + BoL BILB is in my top5 hldgs I am a value investor |
Posted at 12/11/2020 17:15 by binglem Hi all, has there ever been much shareholder engagement at Bilby? Notice that things seem to have turned for the better and encouraged by the cash growth/ debt reduction and director buys. No investor presentation on their website seems odd... |
Posted at 24/4/2020 10:05 by garyb01 Seems they have delivered on what they said they would... although would've been nice to hear about new secured new contracts to give shareholders and investors even more confidence going forward... all in all a good statement and leadership from David Bullen ... |
Posted at 15/3/2019 02:45 by danny baker Bilby's problems seem to be mainly in the original Copolo company, P&R Installation Company Limited. They haven't given much detail about the MOD contract. What we do know is that this contract was originally with AmeyCarillion, then with just Amey after Carillion went bust. Bilby will treat the losses on the MOD contract as non-underlying as it will be a discontinued activity. By walking off site, P&R will be liable for very substantial costs - I would guess £3-4 million. As Bilby have only forecast underlying EBIT of £2-3 million, this will clearly push the company into a pre-tax loss for the financial year. At the half-year stage Bilby had used £4.4 million of the £5 million overdraft facility. Cash is going to be very tight at the year end. I can understand why the institutions are standing back and not adding to their holdings. Results next financial year should be a lot better but first, investors will wait to see how bad the results are for this year. |
Posted at 05/3/2019 09:08 by a2584728 Such great hopes for this company but very small minded and insular in what they do and the way the board thinks, they need to think outside of the box to make this business grow and be more attractive to investors. |
