Yes they have a great platform, given the size of the market and expected growth what's to stop large players competing and using their financial might and connections to dominate.

Personally I would rather this doesn't happen and they put out an update when they are ready to.

They are obviously holding out for a specific reason and this could be good or bad. JD will have already been reminded on multiple occasions that he had said an update early Jan. It would not be something that has simply been forgotten.

Put out any bits of small news or an update RNS stating that they are "hoping" to do this and that without any concrete deals/partnerships and the market will likely react negatively rather than positively. If it is looking bad then I see no benefit in informing the market early without giving themselves a last chance to pull something out of the hat.

My hope lies in the fact that they are finishing off something fairly big that may or may not get signed following trials and talks. JD has always claimed that he wants to deliver for LTH (although I appreciate this is getting harder to believe).

With sentiment so low at the moment, a lot of LTH may likely sell if there is now a small rise on some minor news. The loss of confidence from the comms is becoming quite apparent. If a major agreement gets finalised a couple of weeks later then this will not sit well. All IMO.
