Leaving aside the problems of BIDS you're almost guaranteed to lose money on the AIM because it is the inverse of how investments normally work.

If you invest in a product that is destined to increase in value then the earlier you get in the greater your returns. This applies to almost all investments. For example property, pension plans, jewellery, classic cars, interest bearing accounts etc.

However because of dilution on the AIM the earlier you get in the less the return on your investment. The later you get in the greater the chances of higher returns on your investment.

But even at 10p BIDS is untouchable. It is a non-commercial venture and relies solely on mug PI money having sold them dreams of higher returns from the world of digital advertising.

Perhaps this debate about cookies is so two sided because some of you have entrenched positions which is stopping you discussing this in a reasonable, non-paranoid way.

I thought the objective was to figure out what BIDS can and cant offer/use.

IF gamers agree to the game privacy agreement AND Bids are a trusted third party, then bids can get user information. But they cant give it to anyone else. The game privacy acceptance might say ‘third parties and other parties that the info might be passed onto, giving them carte blanche, but that seems unlikely if not a privacy risk for the game if users found out/readit properly.

So BIDS can obviously identify audience data to use in targeting IF users agree to third party cookies. However they can’t deposit other party cookies to track clicks through to advertisers.

As I said BEFORE, that might not matter if the advertiser is content with measuring by aggregate impressions/exposure and they like the aggregated audience data.

22609 moneygen good post in my opinion about the data discussion.

Separately, shares this end of the market are risky we know that, but who has the biggest risk to shoulder?

James I imagine.

Are we making his job any easier?

Probably not.

It is in our interest to look at facts as they come up from RNS Announcements
and not keep worrying speculation and opinion.
IMO

Well angel exposed too. What a bizarre life these multi ID characters, and in all likelihood grown adults, lead.

Back on filter. A little bit of information is dangerous they say. Dangerous for your short position.
.
I’ll leave it to Bidstack to do the work on complying with the various EU and CCPA data privacy laws. If you don’t think they have this nailed down yet but signed a 20 million value contract with a global ad agency then you really have a low opinion of these people and I’ll leave you with that.

Not everyone has all the detractors or negative posters on filter PW. For example I obviously can read your OPINIONS. I also haven't filtered yump or superg1 yet. Pretty much the rest of them are filtered though as they either post too much, or are rude in the process. You, yump and superg1 at least "talk" in a polite way and while I may not necessarily agree with all you all say I can't dismiss everything said either. I have said it before and will say it again, "BIDS still have a lot to prove". For that reason it is one of my smaller holdings. JD and the BOD have to prove themselves. If that means missing making some serious money at the beginning then fine. Better than investing a serious sum and seeing it all end the opposite way. As it is I am down at present with my average in the mid 20's. So good thing I am not in heavily at present.

You’re trying to mislead people, again, Bidstack are a trusted 3rd party (check privacy policy of current games) capturing 1st party data. Just like google, look it up.
.
Is google analytics data 3rd party data? No. It’s first party data captured by a 3rd party. You probably think google analytics requires cookies still? Don’t you?
.
It’s all moving on quickly, keep up, I won’t mention contextual targeting which is the route they will be moving towards with Derek Wises speciality.

Throwing, I am signed on three times through different devices. Call me lazy but my mobile generally sits as angel. Laptop as numpty and iPad as roley.

I have never hidden that fact. People know i have sign ons.

I didn't build advfn and it allows all of us multiple access... i just choose to use that functionality as it makes my life easy.

What's my game... that's simple. To see bidstack deliver on its promise and that could be absolutely huge. The risk is now basically 10p. That's it. Downside 10p. Upside unlimited...

Out tonight with one of the market makers. He is calling it down at the open 1/4 of a penny... that's his choice.

In the scheme of things the share price today means little. That is just my opinion...

All about the next batch of announcements and news flow. It is coming but as a couple of posters have alluded these things often take longer than planned.

But the news is coming...

Why would it open at 9.75 when the big sell went through before 4pm? Didn't drop there and then, did it? Then over 200k unanswered buys after that. What's your game angel? Why don't you pick one ID you really like and stick with it.

“Bidstack will be able to provide profiles down to the level of female, likely Manchester United fans, aged between 18-26, in China playing at night.“

That’s amazing... they’ve basically tracked Aiden.

You called it Angel.

Have a good evening all!

Bidstack have effectively developed a customer data platform that builds rich profiles of users, that can be used by advertisers to create highly targeted ads. The more playing behaviour and games the richer these profiles become. Instead of putting a trackable cookie onto a users device they are identified by technical data like IP, device and software versions which is stored and later verified when logging in or other self identification .Bidstack will be able to provide profiles down to the level of female, likely Manchester United fans, aged between 18-26, in China playing at night.
