worth listening to in my opinion.....
described as a 'powerful vehicle'.
For a new company that's not bad.
Don't forget the chief technology officer is ex-Apple.

Is cloud gaming the future of gaming? Some of the leading names in the industry certainly seem to think so... ✅ Playstation = Playstation Now ✅ Microsoft = Project xCloud ✅ Google = Project Stream ❓ Amazon = ? … #gaming #mondaymotivation #BIDS

'With Bidstack’s technology game publisher’s can receive a significant extra revenue stream they wouldn’t have had and brands can accurately target a large audience they don’t yet have access to.'

for those that haven't already seen it.

'Approximately 46% of teenage video gamers are female, across all platforms, illustrating that the stereotype of male, teenage adolescents is misconceived. This broadens the brand appeal substantially and is of particular note given Bidstack’s ability to target advertising.

Native ads that can be changed live is a big advantageI think.

'Native advertising is the use of paid ads that match the look, feel and function of the media format in which they appear. Native ads are often found in social media feeds, or as recommended content on a web page. Unlike display ads or banner ads, native ads don't really look like ads.'

I think this has ticked a lot of boxes and seeing the results so early in the company's history bodes very well.

As long as the advertisers do then we'll be ok!
Seriously though look at the last news;that did it for me.
'Bidstack Generates First Material Revenue In 2018 As It Looks To Scale'
There are two elements to that;material revenue AND scale.
Then again Codemasters' a link with them got my interest.
According to a S Times article these companies like Codemaster are the new firms to watch.
Ben W oods states in his article that cloud gaming will open the market up to billions of players.
Good for us I would suggest.

someuwin.....I've put a copy of your post on LSE and credited you for it....hope that's OK.....

I think you have hit the nail squarely on the head with that post....advertisers have difficulty reaching millenials with traditional ad avenues but the large and growing games audience fits the bill completely, especially as Bidstack software enables them to quantify the reach such ads are achieving......

Many have not cottoned on to this IMO....

Very good post someuwin.

A friend of mine is mates with someone who hosts esports stadium tournaments for Counter-Strike, a big esports game.

For Counter-Strike the daily number of peak players on steam is about 600,000 but there is also a daily peak of over 100,000 people watching on Twitch.

During the big esports tournaments the number watching on Twitch is over a million people in some cases. In addition big tournaments will often have their own dedicated website for streaming the events.

Scroll down to the bottom chart on this link:

Then there are also the youtube viewings of recorded videos:

This link shows that last week there were 374,782 views for Counter-Strike videos.

I saw someone on twitter saying that when they play video games they wouldn't have time to notice in-game ads on billboards and hoardings etc.

They miss the point entirely. The video game ads are there targeting the peeps watching the action, not the gamers.

i.e In the real world the adverts on the pitch side at Anfield aren't there to tempt the Liverpool players, they're there for the 100s of millions of viewers worldwide.

eSports is becoming bigger than real sports in terms of number of viewers and the ad revenues are becoming enormous.

BIDS stands to get a large chunk of that revenue.

"Watching Video Games Is Now Bigger Than Traditional Spectator Sporting Events

Young gamers are spending roughly 3 hours and 25 minutes each week just watching video game activity..."
