Where are you looking. I dont think Apple do leaks but log and Angel might know.Weshop(social commerce) have linked up with Apple and i dont see why they(Apple) wouldnt want Bidstacks non intrusive ads.Im going for Apple

The games need ads to make them more realistic without being pop ups.Apple are so protective and if Bids can get in there then who knows how much we could be worth.This is really exciting times and it looks like i will be ok for a substantial purchase in 3 weeks time( same with TSI)

What we need to remember is H2 is already 3 months old, so if they are saying they expect to hit the full year target, then the first half of H2 must be progressing well.

The only positive I took from H1 2019 revenues was that it was a 26,000% increase on H1 2018.

I thought my arms were going to make the steering wheel veer left into some trees on the M42. Thankfully the brain remained faithful.

I had some doubts earlier this morning but on reading the 2018 Full Year Results which stated that revenue would be skewed towards H2 my confidence was restored. I shall remain a LTH.

Can I just say again though WTF was that revenue. I still cant believe it! Was that 30k from penguin and all the other ads charity. At least he could have said we donated 1.2m of revenue to promote 6 charities. Shocking James! Absolutely shocking!

Yeah I have also been thinking - 2m FM players, 1.8m SM players, Dirt 2.0 (?) players. If you are an advertiser you’d only want to hit 4m players with an ad a few times. That’s ~20m impressions. £2m spend would be 50p per player - not massively efficient reach or ROI.

So you either have 1000’s of advertisers (not ready for 9-12 months on the exchange) or you increase the amount of players to view the ads.

I think it’s games developer next.

We are doing things in the right order - you take the tech AND Dentsu to the big games developer and say “hey, we have xxm to spend - you interested?”

Tbf, the more it sinks in the more I take my hat off to them.

Positives for the day..1 - H1 year results out the way .2 - great recovery in SP.3 - JD upbeat podcast. Despite very odd H1 revenues, I personally feel JD has still done everything he said he would. Have no reason not to believe he won't deliver as stated in Podcast. 4 - Note in Podcast JD emphasis on the term strategic partnership with Dentsu. I mentioned this at the weekend and clear this is materially going to impact growth. .5 - SKD and Ad Console live. Some are testing the platform. .6 - Lots going on with many different people which we are likely to hear about in q4.7 - q4 starts tomorrow.

Listened to the podcast twice as recommended.

Positive.

Reading between the lines I think James is saying that they have some advertising campaigns incoming with Dentsu that are being created for the launch of FM20. These campaigns would be big enough to dwarf all numbers on the brokers note.

It’s definitely hopeful and I still think he is genuine but he needs to be more balanced and manage expectations better going forward. Another miss at the level seen today would probably put this to bed along with our hopes and dreams.
