Niggle, anyone who has been here for a while knows I am an academic (and an architect), I haven't hidden the fact so please don't be so dismissive of other peoples skills and professions.

Being knowledgable about a variety of subjects and specialisms is something most of us will have. Being courteous is perhaps a little more difficult to find on bulletin boards which is why most here have developed a mutual respect for each other even if we only know each other via a few comments on a bulletin board. This can happen even when we disagree.

Lol. Far from it, if he can’t build relationships after spending a year on a BB with people who have a vested interested in something then he probably leads a very miserable life.

One alias and one only. Not that I care what he thinks.

So Roley works in the city. The old boy has been there 40 years! I wonder what he does and what his real interest in Bids is.

At least we know who Mike Turner is. Some interesting analysis on sub domains, clear profile on LinkedIn.

Global works at a university.

Roley

Unless it falls to 5p when the placing is announced.

So GN works at a university and you in the city.

What do you do there? Make markets? That would explain your obsession with Bids.

It also explains your rudeness.

Graphite bot - every one will recover unless infirm or have underlying condition .Norovirius would have infected many more than 60 on a cruise liner!!!.

BUT there is a buyer...

600,000 bid at 8.525

It would seem that 8.50p may be a floor for now.

I think those who are most vocal against the realists including Rock, Roley, Money, Grid & Nomad are aliases of one or two people who work for the company or are very close to it.

Why wouldn’t they? ADVFN is largely unregulated.

Btw were you at the second ADVFN dinner in 2000 when Luke Johnson did a speech?

I won the £3 by Christmas award for Easynet!

Anyway whatever happens here I’m enjoying my run on PETS and my Crypto’s have gone mad!

Girds. Is coronavirus an overreaction? We will see in coming months. Never in our history have we seen a reaction to a virus as we are seeing now.No way are we getting real numbers from china. Look at the spread on the cruise liner.1 person to over 60 in a couple of weeks. Let’s hope the majority recover but we will find out a lot about mortality rate from that cruise liner. The whole world is watching .

Nicely said PWhite - "That's because they are all amateurs like the majority of the people posting here"
I hope you are including yourself in that statement as you do come across as a single minded imbecile simply here to disrupt...

and you go further...

"The shares are not falling for no reason"
And there was me being the ameteur and believing that more sellers than buyers would likely lower a share price... and having worked in The City for close to 40 years it is PWhite that tells me I am still 'the ameteur'...

Hmmm. You have me thinking alright.

Portfolios are not going to melt down because a miniscule proportion of businesses have to shut for a short time.

Unless you think this virus is ‘the one’, in which case your portfolio is irrelevant.

The world of fake news pervades us GN.

It is a shame that people don’t know the power of their false truths.

Look to the early 20th Century for clues on how it ends.

I’m seriously starting to think that the posters who mindlessly support some of these shares are not so mindless after all and are shorting or deliberately trying to drive the price down to buy at a pittance in the hope that they can make a quick buck.

I mean, what better way to kill off any serious interest, than to make it look like the people already invested are complete nomarks ?
