09/5/2006 16:50 | share price following traffic down only sellers now | nissi beach
08/5/2006 09:03 | with no buyers and only sellers down its goes | nissi beach
08/5/2006 08:57 | maybe competion is slowing growth or the betbet.com relaunch in the results statement is not that productive | nissi beach
06/5/2006 15:02 | Hmmm this one just came onto my radar, had a look at 1st quarter, and would agree with a number of the assessments that the price and P/E look cheap. Note also price is well down and near float price, any reasons for this guys? Note also that they have exposure to N America, how much of the overall trading is exposed to this market - since as those who watch gambling news (like PRTY) know there is still some uncertainty about which way legislation decisions may go here and as a result sp for such gambling companies have been shaky. Can anyone gimme info on this issue? ta in advance J | jezboy1
27/4/2006 14:51 | from WGP results Sports margins including horse racing in the first quarter of 2006 were 9.3% (2005: 9.1%) representing strong win margins on sports. Forecast for LNG are based on 7% (including horse racing) Every 1% extra will add $5m to net win of which $3m will end up as profit $3m on $19.5m profit would add 4c to 29c forecast dropping PE under 8 | nissi beach
21/4/2006 10:00 | anyone else noticed VIP casinos being advertised on threads or is it just me I am sure i spotted it yesterday Can you let my know on the LNG thread Thanks | nissi beach
20/4/2006 14:48 | i can understand bcl being cheap as its sub £100m m/c but bss is absurd as its m/c is north of £100m and fantastically cheap. I like bss as there is greater liquidity, more research coverage and just as cheap; and bss are yet to start real cross selling of casino and poker into the sports book. once that happens, bss will motor! i'm surprised that eol hasn't started shopping! w | woozle1
20/4/2006 12:32 | there seems to be a link between m cap and PE. ie the higher your original m cap the higher the PE boosting market cap even further SBT were trading much lower PE in 2004 before poker buy then bang rerating m cap boosting deals are also likely to boost these smaller players PE hence why i like LNG so much (but then again all companies big or small are shopping) | nissi beach
20/4/2006 12:27 | Thanks Tole. I think they need to make those acquisitions or they will be taken out pretty quickly IMO. I reckon we will see further rises with these tomorrow as people catch on to the value. | doubleorquits
20/4/2006 12:24 | I calculate the new figures as 32.8p and 38.8p for a PE of 8 falling to 6.5. As you say CR still cheap and need to double to get anywhere near the likes of comparators. | doubleorquits
20/4/2006 12:23 | Yes - definately not expensive I also see citywire gave it a write up earlier too. | tole
20/4/2006 12:18 | looks like another one to add to the PER under 10 list LNG,WGP,BSS and now BCL all trade on sub 10 PE with growing non sports rev mybe soon EOL,SBT,888,PRTY will spot this and go shopping | nissi beach
20/4/2006 12:15 | oops, sorry, they are c not p ! Still screaming cheap tho are they not? 29p eps this year - PE 9 then. SBT on a PE of 20. BCL still much smaller and capable of much higher growth too I'd say. CR | cockneyrebel
20/4/2006 12:05 | KBC have made a "token" upgrade but this would also allow for dilution so EPS is slightly lower. 49.1c, 58.4c, and 69.1c. Still room for further upgrades. | doubleorquits
20/4/2006 11:23 | Figures are in cents I believe - Peel Hunt forecasts 49.1c 2006e - so PER closer to 9.5 falling to 8 for 2007. | tole
20/4/2006 11:04 | well the forecasts from March were 49.5p for this year, 59.5p for 2007, making a PE of 5.3 this year falling to 4.4 for 2007. Placing created 10% dilution so it looks like a PE of about 5.8 falling to 4.8 allowing for that. Must be screaming cheap nd due a big re-rating at some point when the market wakes to them imo. CR | cockneyrebel
20/4/2006 11:03 | the float px was 224p. so trading at a premium. p/e is too low especially given the contribution from casino and poker. but all these cos are cheap versus SBT. check out bss, which also looks too cheap given we know that betcorp has had a bumper Q1. also bss has a large asian book that will do very in the world cup. w | woozle1
20/4/2006 08:22 | yup DoQ those extra shares will dilute earnings by about 8% but the company looks set to exceed the original estimates by 60% atleast imo...:o) | nurdin
20/4/2006 08:12 | first time I've looked at these today but they are still under the float price. Suspect as usual a few in the float stagged them and killed the price but now the results are out it should attract buyers imo - too cheap on a PE of 6 for this year surely? My be even lower I suspect - 2007 pe looks like it could be stupidly low imo CR | cockneyrebel
20/4/2006 08:09 | They could actually beat the following year's forecasts as well at this rate (about 59c) and the following year as well! The only word of caution is the placing of extra shares after the note was released in March. That took the price down to below 240p. However, I still think they are very very cheap with excellent growth. | doubleorquits
20/4/2006 08:08 | Well north of here..I hope.Trading at a significant discount to the sector..just compare the multiple with that of SBT | nurdin
20/4/2006 08:06 | Nurdin, Where are we headed over next few weeks? | finbarr
20/4/2006 07:58 | cracking results...at this rate they will beat brokers full year estimates of 49.5c(28.3p) hands down...and there is the world cup to savour :o) | nurdin
20/4/2006 07:55 | Look like excellent results - 11p eps in Q1 45p+ for the year if you just anualise this quarter - could be a lot better I suspect PE 6 or less? CR | cockneyrebel
20/4/2006 07:29 | Results released after hours on ASX. Where will she go today? | finbarr |
