06/4/2006 16:38 | The P/E is 7 times for next year's numbers and EV/EBITDA of 3.8 times. It's very cheap and will get re-rated in the coming months. I think they have results at the end of this month, so progress will become more apparent then. It should benefit from positive share price movement in the larger caps and should catch up in due course. Because of its size it is well placed to consolidate some of the smaller players in this industry. As ever with stocks, patience is required. W | woozle1

25/3/2006 14:46 | $4.3m profit, which is about £2.5m, market cap of £49m. That's a PE of around 20. Hard to tell how good value that is without forecasts for the future. Perhaps the profit is predicted to double or treble next year? I couldn't find any forecast info unfortunately - Does anyone have any? "The Group currently reports financial results in US dollars, as the majority of its revenues are derived in this currency. For calendar year 2005, the Group achieved gross revenues of US$29.4m on betting turnover of US$825.0m and a profit after depreciation, interest and taxation of US$4.3m. At the close of trading in the ordinary shares on the ASX on Friday 17 March, Betcorp had a market capitalisation of £49.1m." For comparison, GMC is on a PE for last year of 50 having made £600k last year, which seems very high indeed, but they are forecast to make £3.2m this year and £6m next year putting it on a one year PE of less than 10 and two year PE of 5. If betcorp are forecast to make similar increases in profit then yes they are great value. | the analyst

22/3/2006 08:54 | Can't believe the dip over the previous couple of days, vastly underpriced and as you say they release statements every quarter. They're in profit, expanding and have massively trimmed expenditure. Given the recent share issue, can't help wondering if this is to provide cash for acquisitions? | geordie71
21/3/2006 09:14 | This stock is extraordinarily cheap and should get re-rateed within the next 3-6 months. The good news is that the company produces quarterly results, which should give excellent earnings transparency. W | woozle1
