Posted at 26/6/2023 15:26 by doctor888 Seems like the MM's are letting lots of large trades through - allowing Sagi to buy more below his offer price... Selling and buying with a tight spread: in terms of buys: 11410 shares on 20 Jun 2023, 10497 on 21 Jun 2023, 12037 on 22 Jun 2023, 20708 on 23 Jun 2023.Currently: Slater 8.77% Chelverton 4.97% Canaccord 4.7639% Peter Cushen 2.99% - who is he? Octopus 2.39% Finncap - about zero (230 shares) Seems touch and go re the 75% if all the above and enough retail investors vote against Sagi. |
Posted at 21/6/2023 21:39 by davidosh I am extremely unhappy as I attended the AGM last year and specifically said that Sagi will want to get his hands on the company for himself and the directors said that could not happen it was a strategic deal that benefitted everyone. It looks set to happen. I suggest we all write an email to the Takeover Panel as this is a slow creep takeover at a discount to the market price before the announcement and it is worthy of investigation in that the share price moved down from £6 during the 10 days before the RNS too. I do not appreciate being legged over and the fact that FinnCap the advisers independently viewed it as unfair and not reasonable to be recommended is incredibly rare so the directors who went against that have completely let shareholders down. On a P/e of less than nine and cash in the bank I am sure institutions would have taken William Hindmarch's stock with new incentivised management on board and delivering for all of us. Let the Takeover Panel hear your concerns and request a review of why this can be possible. They are there to protect minority investors. |
Posted at 19/1/2022 16:38 by jackson83 was 20p in 2014 , maybe wait for bargain TOP UP ay 100p within 5 months / the next trading profits warning will see this around 170p or lower ..patient investor will grab it at 100p ... going be 10 years b4 its back to 500p IMHO |
Posted at 19/1/2022 12:23 by danmart2 I think £3 is possibly still on the high side; the market cap is still too heavy.Any new investors would want to see the company increase its retail offering before jumping in. |
Posted at 13/12/2021 16:14 by jackson83 maybe investors will arrive for the 500p's party soon ? or wait for the expected profits warning / slow down & rising advertising ? marketing costs ? maybe grad a few at 300p / 400p after the trading RNS soon... opportunity to sell now and SHORT maybe .. is a win win lol. RED FLAGS .. lockdown in January BOTB 200p's |

Posted at 13/8/2021 19:27 by jackson83 wait for institutional investors to dump as they will not want losses on the books for a few more years now. 300p soon |
Posted at 13/8/2021 07:38 by peart We remain excited by the growth opportunities for BOTB which include new partnerships and additional competitions such as our 'One Ticket, Four Prizes' competition launched this week. The Company's revenue is c.2.5 times higher than the corresponding period in FY 2020, the pre-Covid comparative year.Obviously, Covid has been a massive one off shot in the arm for the company. I, for one, naively in hindsight didn't see that. But as announced today the revenue is now 2.5 times higher than it was 2 years ago - in my book that's pretty good. I noticed the one ticket four prizes competition recently (posted about it) which looks good and the news about new partnerships sounds interesting too. I always argued that the stock was cheap during the boom of last year, and I would still argue it was if earnings had simply grown by 15% per year after that, but they haven't. However if and when earnings growth resumes the caveat of "is this a covid stock boom" will have passed (assuming we don't have covid-20!), and a higher earnings multiple could be awarded by investors. We will see, but still a very profitable cash rich and interesting company. No doubt a nasty shock today and then a reset. |
