18/12/2001 13:29 | Sirrah (post 569) -- 17p was both a downtrend line resistance & also a late October high point. Now we have potential downtrend resistance at 14p plus 17p possible resistance levels -- a bit of good news & high volume will hopefully take us past both these points. All IMHO. | harry kaplan
18/12/2001 10:42 | Sirrah, The sunshine is, as Saturn5 says, its holding. A panic has not been induced by massive profit taking. The company has NOT crashed and the signs suggest negotiations are going on apace. Given that we've not fallen back to 10 or 9.5, as soon as the faint hearted look at this again, they will be back on board with the prospect of a high profit. I expect to see 16.5 again, but am curious about the 17p resistance. | sunya
18/12/2001 09:45 | ........AGAIN. | sholcroft

18/12/2001 08:57 | Sirrah if you want to see sunshine then get into a safe stock like ATU, reported excellent maiden results this am, PE of less than 4, first ever dividend with a 10% yield and just ran to the top of the leader board with all buys so far. All this and not even a chance of calling the banks in! now thats my kind of stock. | bruce the goldfish
18/12/2001 08:54 | BGP is holding its price which is a very good sign. You have to stay with it now.I reckon I should be getting an email from BGP very soon. | saturn5

16/12/2001 21:57 | I'm just a bit confused as to why he called himself the 'Mad Trader' and not the Mad Fool. | redmanski
16/12/2001 21:43 | LINESAL1 I don't think that any comments by a person on a free BB will make a difference to the stock. The serious investors with there 10's / 100's of thousand bids, buying from the directors, or a changes at board level swings penny shares - that or the MM's whim. Play here for fun, and enjoy Mad Trader / Jimted or whatever he's calling himself. He's our Billy Mitchell. A newbie asking a question here doesn't have to feel like the dunse of the class if Mad Trader has contributed earlier in the discussion... | evansmi
16/12/2001 20:06 | Ta Linesal1 as Im one of those New traders, and Pos.. about this stock The recent bid for Immunex and the possible value of Bioglan. Immunex turnover approx. $1b - bid of $18b Bioglan turnover approx. £100m - bid of £1.8b?? Lets say 1/4 of this (£450m) less the bank debt £110m leaving £340m. With approx 95m shares, that gives a price of £3.58. Now are the sums / figures hopelessly wrong or are the chances of a deal so small? | semorgan
16/12/2001 19:20 | MAD,TRADER DONT BE AN IDIOT why would there be a rights issue at 2P? bgp can already afford to service the debt they have so there is no need for a rights issue.they can afford the 10mln to skp trust me. it is now christmas I personaly would appreciate a little less de ramping from you I am only asking for two weeks. I can appreciate that you make most of your money from shorting stocks but I have noticed there are a lot of new investors on this thread and do not think it is fair that you give them bad advise, all I ask of you is to leave this thread alone I know you do not have any interest in bgp so do not give views that you can not back up. respectfully yours linesal1 cheers buddy | linesal1
16/12/2001 11:05 | On another thread they are suggesting a rights issue I don't think this will come off because Terry Sadler could not afford to take up the rights | saturn5
16/12/2001 00:59 | yeah be here now | sirrah
16/12/2001 00:29 | From 542 Notice the PAST TENSE "RECENT" not "PRESENT" "Bioglan's recent troubles led to questions concerning the future of Solaraze, but now Bioglan Pharma Inc has announced Solaraze will launch in January 2002" Has your weekend just got better, ooops Pubs open ! | semorgan |
